- In this video, we dive into AI LIMIT, the upcoming action-packed Soulslike that could be the next must-buy title for PlayStation 5. With its fast-paced combat, dark sci-fi setting, and challenging boss battles, AI LIMIT is shaping up to be a standout in the genre. We’ll break down everything we know so far-from its combat mechanics and world design to how it stacks up against other Soulslike games. Is this the next big hit for PS5 players? Let’s find out!
In the distant future when civilization is on the verge of extinction, people follow the legend of the Elysium in the last city, Havenswell. In this post-apocalyptic wasteland sci-fi ARPG, you will play as Arrisa, a Blader with immortality, and explore the city ruin to find the hope of a new life.
Explore the unknown apocalyptic world
After the sudden yet mysterious collapse of the artificial ecosystem, natural disasters and wars ensued, the civilization was wiped out. And in the centuries that followed, a strange substance known as the Mud spread everywhere, and monsters emerged.
You will step into the last city of mankind - Havenswell, exploring cold and damp sewers, layers of slums, sky city above the lake, etc., seeking the truth about the destruction of civilization in monster-infested ruins. Travel through wonders, face mysterious and deadly enemies, and put an end to an eerie and desperate history.
A journey with a mysterious mission
Blader has the appearance of human, but it is actually a new life form created by mysterious technology. With their own missions, they embark on a lonely and dangerous journey, and with the power of the Branches, they respawn after fatal death.
Now that the Branches have been destroyed, you, as one of the Bladers, will have to search for and repair the Branches all over the city. You will meet humans and fellow Bladers who are also in dire straits, feel their joys and sorrows, as well as their faith in despair, and together uncover the truth behind the plagues and disasters.
Facing an overwhelming and mysterious enemy head-on
Warriors who lose themselves and degenerate into crazy beasts;
A killing machine who walks the skies covered in razor-sharp blades;
The colossal beasts trampling on the earth, ravaging cities with collisions and explosions
You will need to challenge the powerful beasts from multiple forces in death and rebirth over and over again, catching the breaks from the fierce attacks and going all out to win and continue the journey to the end of the world.

Have you played the demo? What did you think? Thanks for subscribing, liking, and all that jazz!
Looks promising. I'd play it, need to get off my butt and get a PS5 though. Eventually I will.
So is this new demo that just dropped the same as the beta that released about 2 months ago?
The demo really impressed me, but I have a feeling it will get buried by The First Berserker: Khazan coming out the same day. Even if the team pushed it back, they might run into the same problem again with all of the other Souls-likes coming out this year. The Ballad of Antara, Wuchang: Fallen Feathers, The Relic: First Guardian, Hell is Us, etc.
I have only played a little bit of both demo's, but Khazan is miles ahead of AI Limit so far, for gameplay, and enemies. AI Limit is looking like being in the bottom 10% of the genre, hopefully they hold back on the release date, and make some major changes. More good games has to be a good thing.
I hope this gets a physical release.
This looks like Code Vein, an amazing game, and even the main character looks like the one I made and use in Code Vein, so thats a strange coincidence and very cool to see. Is there going to be a physical release? I cant find anything and Im guessing not, which is disappointing because I would buy 2, one to collect and one to play.
I don't think a physical has been announced, may be one of those, if it goes well, we get a physical.
Very similar graphics, but that may be about all. Code Vein is not great, but it was worth playing.
@Skobeloff... The look may be the only similarity, and the game might not be what I imagine at all, which I'm guessing might just be the case. But Code Vein was amazing to me. It's charming and has a very unique atmosphere, and great gameplay.
@ I enjoyed Code Vein for the most part, I think my only real issue with it was end game stuff where you have to do 15 buffs perfectly to get the achievements on certain bosses. I think it was a little rough combat wise, but it has been a while since I have played it, so I am a little vague on it. I would recommend it, for most people it would be worthwhile. Some people do not like the graphic style, but my interest is gameplay. I would be interested in a Code Vein 2, but to me, this definitely is not it.
So looking forward to this game. Love anime and love souls-like games. Easy first day purchase
This reminds me of Code Vein probably the same studio created this
Different this one, I believe this is coming out of a Chinese studio while code was In house at bandai I believe. Fantastic game though, underappreciated
Really? Even the animation on the "lighting the bonfire" looks like the exact same as the revenant pouring blood to "light the bonfire" in code vein(mistle). The back attack also looks a awful lot like the "blood veil" from the claw type :p
This is part of SONYS CHINESE HERO PROJECT!! Its chinese
@@sopor0 it's ok m8, no need for caps :p the answer was given prior, just pointing out some parallels and maybe inspirations xD
And Ty for the tidbit of info, I wasn't aware :p
And nice pic love NGE :p
@ 😂 indeed take care
Hope this is good. Played the demo and didn’t grab me but before the demo was upgraded, it had some bugs. Feel like that could be part of it but also perhaps there just wasn’t enough in the demo to truly shine.
That said, think it has potential.
Where are the Code Vein fans?
I never played the original demo, but a lot of people are saying they made the game worse in the new demo, by making it much easier. Probably worth your while to try the newer version.
Does the demo save data cross over to the full game?
Good question, not sure.
No hard copies?
Not as of yet I believe
really wish these games were classified as soulswannabes cause that's what they are, too many similarities where they could be creative in just cop out for copying, its a shame really
I definitely prefer ready to go characters with their own personality, backgrounds, and an appearance that reflect those aspects.
I'm glad I'm not alone!
I was burning out on soulslikes after diving full force into them fairly recently, but the demo for this still felt good to me when I tried it out. Also, 20 minutes in a character creator? What are you, a speedrunner? I'm in there for an hour at least, and then likely going back to make more changes later on.
Haha well I think that speaks to my distain for creating characters, I hate spending time on it!
@PlayStationCorner I love it, but there's something to be said for just being able to start playing a game without having to labour over what you character will look/sound/dress like.
Code Vein graphics, meeeh.
I love these "souls-likes" and how with every iteration theres small gameplay mechanics that differ with every one but the overall structure is the same if not similar. 👍🏿👍🏿
3rd person arpg
Soulslike games are definitely not my normal go to, but I had fun with this one!
as soon as I saw this, I was like OMG code vein 2? ..disappointed lol
For the price they're selling it its a steal. 35 euro beats the hell out of most lazy triple A titles. Played this on the pro and runs looks and runs great.
Also if you complete the demo you unlock a boss challenge mode with loads of weapons/skills and armor, your stats and level is completely pre-made so anything in that mode wont save. I dont recommend it though as it shows a LOT so spoiler warning in case you want to experience getting those skills organically.
P.s there is a run-jump similar to dark souls, just run and hit L3
I much prefer to make my own characters. Code Vein, a similar looking game, had a fantastic creator.
all bae it
This game is awesome I’m just bum out it’s coming out the same day as The First Berserker: Khazan 😭
This would have been a day one pick up for me if there was a physical release.
Not a bad game. It's a combination of all good things. Elden Ring 70% Genshin 10% Nier 20%
looks very cliché and generic
I completely disagree. Bad hit boxes, poor level design, choppy, janky controls. Easy pass.
To each their own 🤷
Yeah this game absolute crap. And the dated graphics lmao. The fogged out bland backdrops in the sewer ffs. Boring stale and rigid combat. This is a ps3 game at best. Code Vein was already a mid game, and this one tries so hard to be it while managing to be even worse than CV. Yet people are going to throw money at this incompetent dev. Ok.
Idk if its just me but the dodge is a bit delayed for me when I pressed it
I did not experience any delay with the dodge
git gud
This is most definitely NOT a must buy. This is a must PASS. Ps3 fogged backdrops with dated graphics, rigid movement, boring empty combat, and a worse version of Code Vein. This is maybe a $10 game at best. Pathetic This is current Gen gaming..
More like $4.99
The demo is trash, the enemies are stupid. The developer, or publisher is also blocking people for leaving accurate, negative comments in the steam discussions, this can affect your steam account!
I don't really know how you get to that conclusion about the demo. I enjoyed it, and I don't like souls like games. - Geeb
@@PlayStationCorner Maybe you enjoyed it because you don't like souls games?
That is a possibility!
