The Kings Guards and their boss need to be firmer with all the dim witted people around. Their boss seems to meander around and socialise and not support his guards.
I agree. This Officer appears to be a nice chap but he needs to support his Troopers as he seems to be enabling a tourist atmosphere instead of a working environment.
That first policeman was about as useful as a chocolate fire guard, seems to have no authority about him, unlike the smaller who is one of the better ones.
The arrogance of that family with the disabled woman!!! There will be another horse to pose with in 5 MINUTES! I'm sure people think this is all a tourist attraction - when in reality it is working Military - guard and horse - doing their duty as Royal Guards. It is for the safety of the horse, but also for the tourist's safety to get back out of the way.
Uh, excuse me, most people are more considerate towards elderly, people on mobility devices etc. That poor woman can't help whatever health problem she has. Be more considerate. If you want to be nasty, get nasty about the rein killers etc.
@@dianekruger5977 Nothing to do with her mobility device. She wanted her photo taken right now and was gesturing to her family members to get in the photo. There did seem to be a problem with language - but that woman wanted what she wanted full stop.
@@carlytasmith5754• It would be wonderful if the tourists could be fenced off, but the pavement isn't really wide enough, and any sort of physical barrier in front of the horses would be potentially dangerous. The horses get spooked occasionally, and they could seriously injure themselves if there was a chain across the front of the box, or even a short distance away.
Handicapped, elderly, etc., on mobility scooters are treated better than that here in Ammerica. What, you freaking rude people don't have no consideration for elderly and handicapped. Do you bitch as much about others that. Butt in, that aren't handicapped and elderly? Probably not. Your the rude ones. Considerate people wouldn't be throwing a fit about it. That older man in blue dress shirt and sunglasses in the beginning of the video. Who does he think he is? The guard shouted with full lungs and he just stayed still for a while before moving like the shout wouldn't concern him. I would say the mounted guards need to be consistent, as some leave it until it gets out of hand. It needs a swift, 'you arent allowed so many feet close to the guard'. A chain around the front would do.
@@barryeva8862• True, and the horse can't be fenced off in any way because it could injure itself if it got spooked. I really don't know what the answer is, but someone needs to come up with something, if only for the sake of my blood pressure. 🤨
I can't understand why they don't just put up a sign, in multiple languages, that says to stand at least 2 metres back whilst taking photo's! This would stop all the touching, grabbing of reins etc. These people are not just sitting, up on a horse in a costume, there for tourists to take photo's of! You people picking on woman on mobility scooter, you want to make nasty comments, make them about stupid hand gestures, meaning V signs, etc. Or the posing like their doing a magazine photo shoot.

They didn't listen to the police officers, they didn't listen to the COH, they didn't listen to the trooper in Camo. He was TOTALLY justified for the shout..
They have admirable tolerance. I could not do it.
He knows they don't listen unless you bellow!
This guard is my favourite ,he won't let anyone get past him
So much ignorance, good on the guard for shouting.
But they don't get it!!!!!! because they want the best view...,
What's the matter with people?? The guard is working. He's not there for you to pet his horse.

My thoughts exactly, the guard has a great voice of command, much more of this is needed.

Totally agree - pure arrogance that their photo is more important than anything else.
I have seen some of the Guards charge at the more ignorant tourists. 😂
Oh come on this has to stop . Poor horse and all these disrespectful tourists . Kings soldiers need more respect also . This pandemonium has to stop .
These tourists are so rude and disrespectful our Guards shouldn't have to put up with this every day.
I wonder what these people learn instead of manners and decency
Just take the horses back inside and shut the gates. See how long it takes for people to catch on.
I’m all for having some type of fence separating the rude tourists from them!
