I don’t think it can get 2000 because the motor bearings will be at their upper limit. Their limit is about 17,000 rpm. I don’t know the ratio of the two pulleys so I can’t work out the motor rpm.

The drum might be turning at 1800 rpm but how fast will the motor be rotating at? 17000 rpm might be the limit on bearing speeds (in the motor)

I know Miele does have a software update that unlocks the 2000rpm spin speed
How do you update the software? I have a Navitronic W3985 WPS.
I would leave it at 1800 :)
