I just can't wait to get started when I get back home and really dig into this hobby I have always wanted to do. Good evening Jordy and happy New Year I wish you all great things in the to come, good health, prosperity and abundance..
    I totally agree with some of your other subscribers you need to stop saying you're not the best because I have learned a lot from you in the very short period of time. I don't rightly recall how long watching your videos but I know it hasn't been very long and in that short period of time I have learned things that other videos don't teach.
    So thank you very much for that, don't ever stop carving or making your videos. Have you ever really wondered or talented how many people you've taught this art form to you have followers because you are an amazing Carver and artist. keep going brother. The good blessings.

    Great video, lot's of good information.😊👍 It'll help alot. Just had six big willow trees felled in my yard, so not only do I have to do clean up and clear the yard, but I have to also buy a chainsaw to do it, and learn to use the saw. Figured maybe this saw would serve my immediate needs for cleanup, and then I can get the carving bars and chains to practice on the wood I have leftover. Willow stinks to carve,...but it'll be practice!

    • @CarvingFusion
      @CarvingFusion  6 місяців тому +1

      Yes practice but I have recently carved fresh cut willow and I'll say it's my least fave wet wood to carve

    • @kjirstenboucher9682

      @@CarvingFusion I 💯 agree with you about that! I have tried carving the dry willow,...because it's in my yard,...still not a fan even when it's dry. But after leveling six willows, well, now I have six trunks about five to six feet tall, and all the branches. It may drivee crazy...lol,😵‍💫😂but it's free wood to practice on for now. I have never used a chainsaw before, so I need to get basic skills and safety down. I loved the little willow branches you carved with the tree spirits, and then rooted them,...such a great idea! I may try a few with my Dremel. Also going to go ahead and get a decent die grinder and a few Kutzall burrs for it. Aside from the extreme flame burr,...what burrs do you use the most for your die grinder?

Some UA-camrs provide links to all the various items they use in the video demonstrations. Those are very helpful, compared to doing a search for them on the web. One example is carving and such and Matt c a r v e s. Thanks

    I'm with these guys, you are a carving guru and I learn so much from you. Also, get the cpap machine for sleeping. They take a little getting used to but it will change your life. Also, you say to get the 12 inch carving bar but the one you are using looks shorter than that. Is the shorter one better?
