Has beaten numerous Top 10 ranked fighters, has the most stacked resume by far, has never ducked a challenge, doesn’t trash talk, doesn’t get involved in any petty drama, he’s beaten every man he’s stepped into the ring with (Besides Usyk) He single handedly revitalised British boxing, he attracts the casual audience which no other British boxer can do.
I simply do not understand the hatred this man gets? The way people try downplay his achievements is crazy.
You’re all going to miss this Heavyweight era of Joshua, Fury, Usyk, Wilder etc once it’s gone. Enjoy these boxers and the entertainment they’re bringing.

AJ was on a rebuild after losses. Great heavyweights over the years that lost, had a rebuild against weaker opposition.
Wallin was a credible opponent until AJ turned him into a punch bag.

They decided ngannou was best for business so that's what they offered AJ.

Joshuas resume is actually stacked.
Wins vs Klitschko, Povetkin, Parker and Ruiz are all high level wins. Then wins vs Takam, Pulev and Whyte are all good wins.
Until there's a winner between Usyk and Fury, I think Joshua has the best resume.
Parkers resume is better. He fights anyone. Just can't win them all. Also, I wouldn't say the Parker AJ beat, or Ruiz or Povetkin were top guys. Even Vlad was old and coming off a long time without a fight.

And even an old Klitschko was still arguably #1 or #2 at that time if you include Fury.

@@benlowe578 Parker I agree, Ruiz was a last minute replacement and lost then ran away in the rematch and Whyte has never been a top tier fighter. AJ never wants to get in there with an undefeated fighter, he just follows in Tysons shadow. I’m not a huge fan of Tyson but he does step up when no one else will.

I'm a boxing enthusiast, but this is the weakest era of heavyweight boxing. Francis has a legitimate shot at knocking AJ's head clean off.
No this is not the weakest era in boxing at all. The 1980s and the 2000s were far worse in terms of competitive fights. The only reasons the 80s heavyweight division is talked about is because of a young Mike Tyson and how he blasted his way through the division. The 2000s were terrible as it was dominated by the Klitschko's who had a really efficient but rather boring style and to make matters worse, it came after arguably the greatest era in Boxing the 1990s.
To call this particular era the 'weakest' because a freakishly strong heavyweight from another sport did well against a poorly prepared Tyson Fury, is very naive in my opinion.
And let's not forget that most heavyweights from that era were juiced to the max...drug testing back then wasn't like it is now.
I want Ngannou to get a W, but if AJ dispatches him like he should, holding 2 L's will knock his market value down quite a lot. He should've won against Fury, but hopefully he gets a rematch for that then runs through the rest of the division for fun 😅
AJ will win. There won't be a rematch with Fury unless it's after fury retires or some bs. His boxing was basic, Fury looks better than that in sparring usually, Ngannou is gunna get stopped (probably still on his feet) by most top 10 boxers....you know as long as they aren't putting on a panto for Xmas.

How is it ppl forgot AJ can absolutely crack? Their team should be watching the UFC 220 title fight with Stipe when he put a striking clinic on Francis in one of the widest victories on the cards in the divisions history with a unanimous 50-44. Francis is super hittable and can be grinded down….

I love this new cagey AJ - a fantastic blend of his technical prowess while not abandoning carnage. Just maturely waiting to detonate. Any other time honestly Francis might have gotten him. But ironically how AJ’s career unfolded, this won’t be the banana skin it was for Tyson which was equally the best time to catch him slipping. A very game Francis comes out the other side of this a richer, even more respected fighter though that’s for sure.
AJ's team would be ignorant to rely too heavily on that first Stipe fight given the domination that happened in the 2nd. Ngannou learns fast: language, skills etc
Ngannou is hittable but so is AJ, difference is Ngannou has better chin & KO power.
I'm Nigerian but I think it's anybody's fight. I'd favour Ngannou for the upset.
It's also worth mentioning that Ngannou's fight after losing to Stipe was the worst fight in UFC history, with the least amount of punches thrown. So there is a possibility that as soon as AJ lands something big, Ngannou will go into survival mode for the remainder of the fight.
Do you know how long ago this was? Francis is way more technical now. Also he wasn’t taking Stipe serious in his first fight against him. He overlooked him. Also stipe won due to his wrestling, which is no t s factor in an MMA fight. And Stipe still couldn’t hurt Francis, even though he has KO power.

I always find it funny to watch American HW boxing videos. Fury shouldn't have beat Ngannou (it should have been a draw foe me). But let's not pretend that it wasn't the very worst
Fury fighting the very best Ngannou. Joshua counters and counters normally with a hard hook - Probably the hardest punch Ngannou will have ever felt. He will not be able to get away with the things he did with Fury. His stamina is good, but after feeling real power I think we'll see Joshua prevail on a night that goes the full distance. Joshua will win and I think Joshua beats Fury. His only real hurdle is Usyk but as pretty much everyone has said if Joshua puts it on Usyk (instead of trying to outbox a master) and goes for the body in the mid rounds, he could KO him. I'm no AJ fan, but I do believe he will retain the belts before retiring.
How was it the best Francis when it was his first boxing match ever and first fight in 2 years and after a knee surgery? It was the worst version of ngannou
He got lucky against a poor, untrained Fury is what I meant. That will not happen against Joshua and he will be found out as yet another fighter Fury has fought and said amazing things about. He isn't a boxer, nor is he anything but big.
Stamina was good but Fury didn't do much to take it out of him.

No mistake on Joshua's part. The guy is a gentleman, respectful, athletic freak, olympic gold medalist, experienced and two time heavyweight champion of the world who is now maturing and still even not peaked. That's a dangerous man who wants to improve and be a better version of himself....he's not a loud mouth yob like Fury giving Francis no respect. Joshua's all business and will one step to much for Francis. Both are a credit to themselves and their sports.
