- Want a quick, easy, use-them-immediately way to create some great looking ground poles? Then check out the SmartTip from our very own Jess, who uses duct tape to color her ground poles. No painting means no drying, no mess, and jumping rather than waiting! What could be better than that?
i'd do a nice bright obnoxious center, like hot pink in the middle only, I think that would make it even easier to visually. "aim for the pink!"
This is a bonus for Kids at my parents riding barn. They love helping with carrying the poles and putting them away. This prevents wood splinters and painting chipping on the child’s hands!! Although if you don’t want to use tape just get some hollow pipe poles and paint them! (Already white)
Great tips! Thanks!
Thats so smart! Good Job.
Great idea!!!!
Thanks for the great tip!
Oh my god thankyou! I have so many naked poles and
I cant be bothered to paint them!
YAAAASS SARAH!!!
Where do you get your poles from ??
BOIIIIIIIIIII you should NEVER use PVC pipes around horses!!!!
Gigi Hollywood I disagree as long as you keep the PVC pipes indoors they won’t get weathered and they won’t break easily so your horse will be at risk for injuries when the PVC pipe is broken
The poles shouldn't be completely round, but hexagon or octagon shaped. If the house knocks or steps on a round pole, it will roll and get in the way. A hexagon or octagon will stay up even if the horse steps on it, and it will only roll about an inch if the knock it.
NOOOOOOOOO, impossible to take the tape off and if you do the poles are very very sticky!!!!! I did this with a few cavaletties years ago and now I regret it. Major pain to take off and sand.
