Driveshaft grinding and stuck throttle on the 1957 Vette

Holidays are a time to come together and visit family, and for me it’s a time to address some of the issues on Dad’s old corvettes. Some families play football after Turkey on Turkey day, we crawl under cars and try to fight the entropy that attacks every old car. In this case the 1957 Corvette Fuelie had an issue with seat belt bolts leaving their mark on the driveshaft and a previous fix for the Holley sniper fuel injection causing a problem with the throttle that caused it to hang open. Also I go over the punch list of issues that still remain and hopefully I can tackle. Enjoy.

Did you do anything to protect the driveshaft where the nuts rubbed off its coating?

Why don't you just buy a smaller air cleaner?
