- Jane Seymour, OBE (born Joyce Penelope Wilhelmina Frankenberg 15 February 1951) is an English actress, best-known as a Bond girl, in the 1973 James Bond film, Live and Let Die, and the star of the 1990s American television series, Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman, and its telefilm sequels.

wow she's gorgeous, not in a sexual way, in a devinely beautiful way. It's like you could just look at her and admire such beauty.
Out of all bondgirls we have ever had, Jane Seymour is and will always be my favourite, everything about her was so beautiful and even now, she still looks as stunning as ever. What a lady.

Jane Seymour is so beautiful, was and still is today, that we overlook the fact that she has maintained a career over 40 years not on her beauty alone - beauty is not enough. But she is a superb actress and can play any part. I love how she emotes and reacts in Scarlet Pimpernel (1982). One of my favorite films and she and Anthony Andrews (and Ian McKellan of course) make the film a perfect joy and relaxation. So don't forget that Jane Seymour is a marvelous actress! She'd never have lasted so long otherwise. And very savvy about her career. Even as early as the Bond girl role, she was never "sexy" or vulgar. She played an innocent beauty, she wore clothes, she was the essence of refinement. She moved right into period dramas like Somewhere in Time. And took off in the TV series Dr. Quinn, which I never saw as I had no TV. Oh, almost forgot her villainess in East of Eden! That was a tour de force. Again, she is an actress as well as a beauty.

She's just other worldly beautiful. There are lot of attractive women but then there are a handful that truthfully stun you to a completely different level.

Trully since Solitaire picked "Lovers" card once she met with OO7 she had no choice. The cards told her. I think Bond didn't need to buy a full pack of Tarot consisting "Lovers" card only. I'm sure Solitaire would have picked the same card in any case. There's no way to evade the double-O in fate.

Jane is subtle and brilliant wish she was black though! And I have never said this.. but purely on acting basis this was absolute Romance, unlike any romance i hv ever seen!. Roger was not just a replacement to connery he was really good even in this otherwise mundane movie with few interesting things happening.
Mundane? The crocodile farm scene? The New Orleans funerals? The Voodoo dancing? The restaurant trap tables?

That's not it. Most of her marriages ended as she was working so much and in her absence they cheated on her. It's not right to nitpick at a woman and suggest reasons why she is not good enough 'not fun enough' could be 'more fun in bed'. It's a very one sided way to look at a marriage and not heatlhy, and quite misogynistic.
