There was never a Palestine. There was a British Mandate for Mesopotamia (for an Arab state) and a British mandate for Palestine (for a Jewish state.) But there was never a Palestine. Palestine was a name the British used for the holy land or the biblical land of Israel.

68,000 US citizens die every year due to a lack of health care according a Yale epidemiological studies. The tens of billions of taxpayer dollars sent to Israel could be diverted to save those Americans. Israel has the right to refuse American pre-conditions on the money but then Israel should simply expect that the money will no longer be given, especially since so many American citizens could be saved if that money was invested at home.

When did reporters decide it was OK to interrupt their prominent guests and try to get in the last word on each topic themselves? CBS isn't quite as bad as the BBC yet, but they're working on it. Just a reminder to interviewers: whether we agree with your guests or not, we care a lot more about their opinions than yours.

It's called challenging the narrative of a notorious liar, and an attempt at holding a war criminal accountable. Albeit a weak one at that, an attempt nonetheless.
Israel courts will put Netanyahu on trial for fraud and corruption as soon as he is out of office. The man iis notorious for being a liar within Israel. Keeping this war going is his best chance for staying out of jail. Knowing his track record and his personal agenda for avoiding fraud prosecution, the journalist would be irresponsible if she didn't fact check him in real time and interrupt when he went off on a tangent in order to evade answering the question that was asked. I like aggressive journalists who aren't afraid to confront politicians but, frankly, she wasn't very aggressive.

PM Netanyahu is doing an excellent job of countering the arguments. But the one thing he missed was how the numbers for civilian casualties are greatly inflated. One many of those casualties have been caused by Hamas by accidental misfiring and out of control rockets. Second they shield themselves behind and surrounded by civilians. Thirdly, the militants themselves are dressed in civilian clothes so that when they are neutralized by the IDF they get counted as civilians. This information is widely known, however, the Hamas sympathizers will NOT acknowledge these facts. PM Netanyahu please stand fast and fight the good fight no matter what!!! She mutters impateintly while he is speaking, interrupts just as he is finishing a point, distorts what he has said, and, as Netanyahu noted, she lobs distorted attacks at him and then quickly changes the subject before he can answer. Nevertheless he is cogent, to the point, and very smart -- we could use leaders like that here. (And talk about her rudeness -- she did not even thank him at the end of the interview as interviewers always do, even when they don't agree with the person they are interviewing.)
Dude, etiquette aside. She has 6 of her own Americans being held hostage and asked Netanyahu if he cares that time is running out and they might not be brought back alive. If they are returned dead, it will be of no value to the US.
She started the interview by asking him, all Hamas is asking for is 100 of their detained prisoners (most are kids) in exchange for 40 of the hostages.
He scoffed at the even mention of it. She was irritated by the prospect that he is willing to let 6 American lives be killed unless his own demands are met.

The interview I've been waiting for. Benjamin states -- Hamas has put in the way those that he has tried to take out of the way.

75 years ago the US banned arms sales to the new State of Israel which purchased planes from Czechoslovakia and then France. The 1967 war was won with the French made Dassault Mirage III. 75 years ago it was 5 Arab nations who declared war on the new State, not the other way around. In 1948 Gaza was controlled by Egypt and the West Bank by Jordan, that changed in 1967. Your history is flawed.

A person that thinks it is okay for others to go through suffering because they themselves went through it is mental illness. A person that believes that suffering of a human kind is normal and acceptable is definitely a sign of illness. The fact that he suffered a family loss and combat trauma is a great concern for his mental stability and ability to lead humans in the right path. A leader should never think it is normal for others to go through pain and suffering. "It is what happens at war" is never an excuse because war itself is a violation to every human rights. A leader should always have a goal in his mind for the safety of all people. He should prioritize mental and physical well being for it is peace. Otherwise he/she should not be called a leader. Netanyahu is being blinded by his own bullet point goals and points of view. A good leader should be able to listen to the claims of all of his people. A good leader does not ignore his people even if it is a few % of the population. A leader should be a leader for all, not for some.
