Those were the romcom movies where you don't need background music after every 2 lines, Actress don't have to be too chaotic , silence play it's role and everything looks realistic. Now I hardly differentiate between movies and tik tok videos.

Excellent point. On that note,the chaos and depravity of American TikTok is the antithesis of the TikTok China allows their citizens to watch. Time limits,none of this hyper-sexualized freak show content,no TikTok for children at night etc.etc. TikTok China is educational,China's TikTok in America is as destructive to young minds as they can possibly get it to be. Coupled with everything else China/America these days,the motive is quite obvious IMO.
Was this a comedy? I found it to be more of a drama.

Cruise is such a masterclass of an actor. All his lines just feel like they are delivered so effortlessly. Great stuff!
Omg.. acting isn't a skill.. it's lying, it's make believe, every child does it. We all treat actors like they're curing freaking cancer when they're just massively overpaid professional LIARS. Thats it.
It takes so little to be an actor. You can have zero training and become a celebrity overnight. There's a selection process, so.. what do they do to get selected..? We are all now privvy to the casting couch thanks to the me too movement. what did any of our famous celebrities do to be selected? It's not JUST supposed talent and looks, there's a million Tom Cruises out there, why Tom? These people aren't that special.. they're sell outs, thats the differientiating factor, all celebrities are the type of people willing to sell their soul and values for the right amount of fame and compensation.. so no I'm not impressed with Tom cruises "acting". He just an attractive charismatic guy who did God knows what to get a part initially.

Top gun was fantastic big budget action. It is not a quaint movie about flower arranging. I would like to see him do more drama than action. Jerry Maguire was fantastic

No high-end CGI, no Over reaching trailers, no leaching off prior Books, animation, or comics. Just amazing writing accompanied by an equally amazing cast resulted in a simplistic awesome movie!!! One of my favorites of all time.

My mom showed me this movie a few weeks ago and I absolutely loved it and I almost cried watching it especially during the “You had me at hello” scene!!! and I also screamed when Jerry and Dorothy kissed!!! Ray was the most adorable kid ever!!! I remember him from Stuart Little and Like Mike!!!

The main thing that was better was the seating was more spacious. There was basically just a brief period in the 90s where seats were still reasonably sized relative to the general population but smoking was illegal. Prior to 1989, unless you were a smoker, airplanes sucked, regardless of anything else.

Ray looked better once he regurgitated. He even smiled with his mum after her wistful admission....it's not as if she left him on the row by himself.
This is a very non-sensical scene. No mom would be that calm and simply whiny if their child was lost.
