Gorgeous looks in general and really good looking game materials ... but I fear this not my type of game. Seems to me more like a heavy euro game, rather than a war game. So I am forward looking towards your play through, and see if my assumption is wrong or not!
Yup. I bought this impulsively because my wife encouraged me which never happens. It looks beautiful. Looks like a block/war game but it's definately a euro/family game. I found it monotonous but can see how it works best as multi-player. More about interaction than game immersion or challenge.
