Along with Vt, we need to take care of battery voltage or SOC as well. How will we design such converter control which takes care of both? How can we charge if SOC if battery is already 100% or how will discharge if it has reached maximum DOD?
Am I the only one who feels confused after watching this video?? all the resources that I have seen online tell you to connect batteries in parallel directly (+ to + and - to -) no problem. and then directly to the solar charger, without using an "interface". Can someone alleviate my confusion please? thank u
That is not a good way to connect....if your battery voltages have small differences between them (which they do), lot of circulating current will flow between the batteries and Destroy it...so yes you need an interface...
