For real. I can’t wait to hear how he thinks it compares to Bibliographie; silence is definitely less Stephan’s style and Ondra is quite notorious for being a stiff grader
I think it is a bit early for doing this comparison. You can clearly see that Adam has the beta completely dialed in (e.g using rest positions better) whereas Stephano is still figuring out what works best for him. My guess is that Stephanos' beta will change quite a bit in the process of making the send. Still, I see a big difference where Stephano is using beta that seems more traditional/obvious and Adam doing some really wild and imaginative moves. Very exciting to witness this!
Absolutely agree! It was just the first opportunity to do the comparison and i was excited to do it, but it will have more sense and will be better once both have dialed the beta
I’m so glad Stefano made the ascent but you can tell even though his beta is phenomenal, Ondra sees the holds where no one else does. That’s what makes him the best climber in the world.

Stefano didn't made the ascent yet! He was just practicing starting from the second crux. Take into account in this video Adam had been practicing the route for many months, while Stefano has started projecting a couple of weeks ago.
Interesting to see that stephano already has the right beta but doesn’t have yet the volume of attempts necessary to have it dialed like adam
(Not saying anything revolutionnary but it was impressive to see Adam knowing the route to the tips of his fingers)
@@tanguylaloy8155 Agree, assuming he can link the movements of the first crux too, i think that climbing faster and optimizing the movements will be the real challenge for Stefano, especially in the first 20 30 meters section before crux 1 that is still a very pumpy 8b/8b+ part, even with kneebar rests.
Adam made the second crux look like it's no crux at all. Hopefully Stefano finds a way to move faster too and makes it easier for himself. Getting to the good hold is a bit more reachy for him though, so might need to stick with that intermediate.
??? Why would Stefano ever climb with the wrong beta? He's not trying to onsight a 9c
@@ComicsInk I'm not implying it will happen here, but "wrong beta" is often how downgrades happen.
one the cruxes is the true key, cant remember which, guess the new Ghisolfi beta can work. creo en Stefano
In all fairness Stefano is still working out the moves!! But he will probably never climb as fast as Adam 🤷🏻♂️🦾

la comparación es absurda práctica.... no hay ejercicio más eficaz que plantárcele a una propuesta con las virtudes de cada ser y.... compartir... stefano comenzó y les dió junto a alex y seb la canfianza que hay que cargar en el macuto para una maratón en la cueva más apopeyante y moderna en cuanto a desplomes. animemos a resaltar el goce de la kinescética cada quién con sus armas... Adam estuvo dos grados por encima de cada hombre conocido mediaticamente desde Silence, creo que es un gran guía así como jacob y como lo fue Rivera para Chris o Ramonet para el mismo adam.... el espejo siempre nos debe devolver nuestro semblante
