I was a fan of Funeral Mist since the times of Salvation and Maranatha. I waited more than 9 years for their return, and they did not disappoint. When I heard their first albums I thought: this is exactly how I think a Black Metal sound should be like. Perfection.
'Salvation' will always be one of my top 5 Extreme Metal Albums ever. I doubt Mortuus can reach that same level again, but this is still an amazing record nonetheless. And great job from Lars as always
Same. Salvation is on a whole other level. But mostly because of the dynamic drums that necromorbus did, and the amazing recording at necromorbus his studio. its a savage album that these later works cannot touch.

anyone who buys a current NED LP secondhand in the past 10 years is pretty stupid because since about 2012 they've been keeping almost everything in print - at least every 4-5 years there's a repress. except Malign's compilation for whatever reason.

The production is actually pretty muddy, the previous record had a clearer drum production, I don't know what you are talking about.
Really good! I really enjoyed this - I loved salvation from them and this sounds so fresh at this age for some reason.
