Reggie, whilst I can agree Wahl is a great product, they have not done anything recently to change the industry! The other manufacturers have done things to revolutionize the industry. Some of the changes have been a “DUB” but at least they are making proposals that might or might not get adapted by other Clipper Manufacturers!
Wahl will never release a cordless balder! I mean never!! They would see all of their clippers sales drop by 50% or more. We would buy that balder & put all of our left over magic clip, designer, legend, Senior pieces on it & it’ll smack hard.. imagine a Magic clip for a balder’s price? Wahl would be stupid to do that. I used to do it w/the corded version. Wahl sells the same clippers w/different names & they’re still the goat.. Its like GMC vs. Cadillac.. Same ish!
I rock with Wahl. They were my first professional clipper and the quality last. I wish they would make new tools and diversify but I guess their motto is if it’s not broke don’t fix it 🤷♂️
i love wahl but they bog down too much over time even my 1919 i was stubborn to make the change and when i did i got the babyliss FX but same thing bog down paint coming off lasted a bit longer then wahl as far as run time and lifespan but the price was high and no dock. Intro to SC/Gamma another barber in my shop had them first impression was they look cheap but all the things it came with makes up for it, then the power it has with the light weight is what got me, i havent looked back since its been a year and a half and been solid one thing that messes up over time is sometimes the dock doesnt charge the clippers. i have the mythic two rebels and xergo might get another xergo and ditch the other clippers (i got use to the shape too much). also only trimmer i use is xevo with philthy blendz mod babyliss cam with a graphite blade. Thanks Reggie for the banger videos!
100% agree with you, Wahl is the GOAT, and will always be but they need to come out with a something new, something crazy, hopefully soon. 💯 p.s. white comb = Like 👍😅
I just don’t know why anyone would want a heavier clipper if you’re a busy barber. After 23 years my shoulder is spent after 10 hours of cutting all day. I want as light as possible but not sacrifice performance like the legend , which also has the extended blade so you use less guards. Not quite sure what the advantages are for this. Let me know!
With all the options available, it makes no sense to pay what Wahl is asking for a cordless clipper with barely over an hour of use, and they keep running hoaxes re-releasing the same old, tired machines. First and most importantly, I'm loyal to no company, because I pay for my tools with intention of making money, so everybody wins. BUT (LOL) I wouldn't spend another $.10 with a company that won't improve simply because they feel they're going to sell regardless. So I was finished with Wahl a few years ago because in over 35 years I've never owned a Wahl clipper I was proud of to begin with. Truth just hurts.
Just can't support it. Loved Wahl when I started out, but damn. $260 for some heavier, same ol clipper. The rebel is $100 less and blows this out of the water and comes with way more. They are just money grabbing on old tech now. They know they have a loyal customer base that will buy it up. Too many other companies are doing way better things. This clipper and everything else they have put out in the past 2 years is a hard pass for me. It's time to improve. They even said its just the 1919 with a senior name. Lazy. They started this whole game and got left behind years ago.
@@hesam007 I’d have to strongly disagree. They are cheap, thin plastic clippers. I’ve had 6 magic clips and 2 seniors and they all lost power after a month. They bog down like crazy. Legends completely snapped off the plastic. All the Screws on the magic clips have stripped out. I even had one smoke the first time I tried to use it. If you’re talking old corded clippers then I can agree. But not the new stuff. It’s all made in China, including gamma, Stylecraft, andis and babyliss. I’m not paying double for a less powerful Chinese clipper. I’ve not had one issue with any of the Stylecraft, Gamma or Caliber stuff I have. Over a full year since I switched from Wahl. I have noticed that people who LOVE Wahl will drop hundreds on the same crap they keep putting out. But will say a $70 clipper THATS MORE POWERFUL, is junk 🤣 make it make sense man.

@@hesam007 lol 12 barbers in my shop and not one uses anything Cordless Wahl except detailers for balding or modded for a GTX blade. We are all Gamma/Stylecraft or Caliber. We all had Magic clips fail out the box, or shortly after. It had NOTHING to do with maintenance, which we are all very meticulous about, hence the reason I said all the screw holes stripped out on all the Magic clips, that’s from taking them apart and cleaning them. Don’t even start on the trash Legends with the breaking brackets. Not a single failure with ANY of the other brands and we are almost 2 years strong since dropping wahls. But you the type to spend $200 on a dog turd that says Wahl. then argue how great they are 🤣 it’s not 2013 anymore bro. Go buy those gold plated tacky ass Magic clips that they keep putting out. You’ll love them. Maybe grab a $30 battery upgrade so they will actually stay running a whole day 🤣🤣🤣 Brand loyalty is fucking dumb. Whoever puts out the best tool gets my money, and it’s not Wahl.
Ok wahl have quality for long but they keep making the same and the same clippers over and over again..if they don't make something new i think people will stop buying them ...and the battery life sucks..BTW my seniors cane with fade blade ..so it's nothing new..it's the same clipper like the 100th years edition..
Wahl is mucking on people's faces, is the same clipper as the 1919, they just change the color of the medal. Wahl is the apple of the clippers & trimmers, the worst shit is that people buy that products

At least with stylecraft you get accessories that can justify the pricing and it still won't break you.
anyone know where I can get just the charging dock on its own?
Wahl Professional Cordless Clipper Charger, Fits Wahl, Sterling, and 5-Star Cord/Cordless Clippers - Model 3801 www.amazon.com/dp/B093X6SFTM/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_6G3FGCYY0Y3779CEJ17Q
@@CutsByReggie thank you! Says currently unavailable hopefully they’ll restock soon , I’ve been looking for ages!
You can also search barber supply stores for the charging dock. You may find the same charging dock at a lower price.
@@vtaylor21 can’t trust a lot of them tho . They sell fake and defective stuff
Great review big dawg
This has a faster motor than the regular Seniors
I’d be happy if they release a cordless balding clipper but out of mind if they come out with something new
I would be mad at a cordless balding though.
I wish they would make new tools and diversify but I guess their motto is if it’s not broke don’t fix it 🤷♂️
A white comb def in there 😅
😂😂 They don’t miss!
You know they will, cool vid
i love wahl but they bog down too much over time even my 1919 i was stubborn to make the change and when i did i got the babyliss FX but same thing bog down paint coming off lasted a bit longer then wahl as far as run time and lifespan but the price was high and no dock.
The 1919 has a weaker motor than the wahl Senior cordless
Guy who worked there said so.
Wahl is going down
100% agree with you, Wahl is the GOAT, and will always be but they need to come out with a something new, something crazy, hopefully soon. 💯 p.s. white comb = Like 👍😅
there’s better clippers and trimmers out there made by other brands , so being goat or what ever b.s don’t mean anything
@@briom1425 you either don't know shit about barbering or you're a barber student that wants the exact same set up as your instructor 😅🗑
They should’ve bought Gamma! They have more than enough $ to do so.. # BIZisBIZ
@@briom1425 Nah… They would take Andis & Oster completely out of the game..
Yes white comb
For the price they should send everything
Ya cause the disrupter is like $90
Great video as usual bro!! BUT.... COME ON WAHL!!!! 80 minutes run time?????? 🙈🙈🙈🙈🙈🙈
Hi send me one to Kenya
1919 motor sound different from the new Wahl, the new Wahl sounds more powerful
Very good but overpriced i prefer to go for Gamma X ergo or JRL
Looks like a really expensive kemi.. lol
Seems the new ALL METAL seniors should have longer running time🤔
Ma MAN ✌️
With all the options available, it makes no sense to pay what Wahl is asking for a cordless clipper with barely over an hour of use, and they keep running hoaxes re-releasing the same old, tired machines.
At least make em all gold and silver.
I’m good wit the seniors I got
lol 3 guards, the moment they undervalue their customers is when their competitors will gain market share.
Not much chance of that happening they sold out of black magic clip combo already and wahl senior metal edition 😂
Hell yh 💯🙌🏼
Pass
Just can't support it. Loved Wahl when I started out, but damn. $260 for some heavier, same ol clipper. The rebel is $100 less and blows this out of the water and comes with way more. They are just money grabbing on old tech now. They know they have a loyal customer base that will buy it up. Too many other companies are doing way better things. This clipper and everything else they have put out in the past 2 years is a hard pass for me. It's time to improve. They even said its just the 1919 with a senior name. Lazy. They started this whole game and got left behind years ago.
none of those brands last as long as wahl! the rest is just hype of the moment u can always have stronger faster etc.. but wahl is the best overall
But will say a $70 clipper THATS MORE POWERFUL, is junk 🤣 make it make sense man.
you just dont know how to take care of your shit ive got clippers from 5 years ago and none of my clippers are broken, obviously you will eventually have to replace some parts but thats for every clipper
Leave Apple’s name outcho effin mouth!!! Will Smith told me to remind you!! 😂
😂😂😂
1919 clipper had 5500 rpm motor, plastic lever and Switch and no charging dock, senior metal has 6700rpm motor, metal lever and switch and a Charging dock, maybe it looks the same but there are small differences
PD. 1919 uses a 4v battery, metal senior use 5v battery
