Hey bro! Just watched your video! I have the fk universal battery’s. Two of them. Been using it with acts Valhalla for months. No problem. Ever. At all. I recently got a Vlad blad avenger 2 machine. And it seems after running it for maybe about 2 hours, the voltage gets extremely inconsistent. Going up and down, like it’s almost cutting out. I don’t understand. The light doesn’t blink at all as if it’s low either. Maybe it’s just not enough to power a bigger motor? Idk.
Could be the rca connector isn’t snug on the machine and that’s what’s causing the issue. I say that as it’s happened to me in the past and this was the issue.
@@ThatTattooShow it actually does fit kind of loose. I use a rubberband to hold it in place, as I have to turn the battery to get a better grip of the machine. But it works fine for a while, and then it starts to act like and old carbureted motor like the carb needs cleaned or adjusted. If that makes any sense. I also just watched another video of yours about the “E give” I’m going to look more into that as well
Hi, any idea of what would fit an axys valhalla best? Ie would the lighting bolt actually fir the valhalla and would the critical be too top heavy. Thanks in advance
I’ve had a look at some videos on UA-cam and the lightning bolt does fit on the Valhalla. The critical will make it longer so out of the two batteries the lighting bolt would probably feel less top heavy than the critical

Hey i have the lightning bolt i use for my xion. But a little trick you can do to use with other machines is buy a rca female to male adaptor and use in any machine. Saces you having to buy another battery packs for your other machines. Thank me later 😎

If it stopped working did you get in touch with the company to get it replaced? To be fair I have had one battery fail on me and it was replaced within a few days. Or you could just say screw technology altogether and use a piece of wood with some pins tied to it and candle light. What ever rocks your boat 🤘🤘🤘
I enjoy watching your views even though I usually have the equipment you're already reviewing. I tend to like to see what other people are doing with the same equipment. Your numbers seem to be pretty par with mine. I use the critical Cheyenne power supply as well and I get about 4 to 6 hours out of it on my Sol Nova. I admit I don't have the fkirons Pack yet but most of my friends use the fkirons pack and get pretty decent hours out of theirs. I have most of the machines that are on the market just because. I have the Edge X, Xion, Flite Nano, Eclipse, Centri Cobra, Sol Nova, HL Gambler and the Killer Bee from Immortal Innovations. I also use the Hard Life Nucleus. The only thing I don't like about the Nucleus is the automatic shut-off, which is supposed to keep your battery pack from overloading. It might be a good thing but sometimes it will turn off just because I turn my machine on with the cartridge already in place or because it doesn't like how the belle hits the skin. I've never seen the Lightning Bolt or the Critical have an issue with that. The Critical is a beast though, for sure. It will run my Killer Bee with no hesitation. The Nucleus won't power it on at all. And at the time, nobody I knew had the straight lightning bolt pack they only had the one that was at the angel so it wouldn't even fit on there to be able to test. I also use the Valhalla and I find that if I switch my stroke length on the Valhalla that it does tend to cause the battery to change the amount of run time. I didn't realize I wasn't subscribed until now so I gave you a thumbs-up and subscribed. Keep the content coming I really enjoy it.

Yeah the Cheyenne spirit had crazy long battery life but I found generally for the way I tattoo the both batteries last me a decent amount of time. I’ve heard that the HL rotary has gone bust or something but I always thought their battery looked like they could be heavy if that makes sense?
I didn’t know about the auto shut off feature but it sounds like that could have been an issue when tattooing.

The FK Irons battery on my old cheyenne thunder converted to RCA lasted for 10h 51min with 8V which is crazy with such a strong machine 🤯
That’s awesome! It must be that type of motor in the thunder and spirit that doesn’t need a lot of juice to run. It’s crazy for sure. And with the e-give function on the lightning bolt it will be a completely different beast.

Should my PowerBolt loose charge just from sitting not being used ?
After doing some research and speaking to various people, what ive discovered is when not in use or in storage etc Lithium-Ion batteries continue to slowly discharge. so if you haven't used a lightning bolt for a while chances are it would lose some charge. from what ive read up on batteries its recommended to check the charge status of batteries prior to use.
Do you have the best recommendation for the FK IRONS XION? The FK IRONS LIGHTNING BOLT BATTERY PACK is $300.... way too expensive for a battery although it is high quality, and if there's any issues they will replace no problem which is basically what I am paying for. But the battery pack will only fit on this FK IRONS machines. I was thinking of getting this on eBay for $28: "Digital Wireless Tattoo Machine Power Supply RCA Tattoo Pen Battery Pack 1500mAh"
Although I am taking a risk of getting this battery from China, quality is cheaper. This battery only lasts 5-8 hours depending on the voltage 5V-12V, the FK IRONS lightning bolt battery lasts about 10 hours. both are 1500mAH. I feel like I can get 2-3 of the $28 battery to get the same amount of hours of tattooing and if it does I can switch as well. I would spend $84 instead of $300....
I just got a used FK IRONS XION for $385, I am just starting out which is why I got used and I didn't want to pay the full $700-$1000 for a machine without experience, same reason why I don't want to spend $300 on a battery as well... Well any advice from pros will help. Thanks!
The critical ones are decent. The battery life on a xion won’t be as long as it’s a brushed motor.
I have been advised by various machine builders that certain batteries can damage the motors in the long run as the don’t supply a clean and constant power output.
That being said, dragon hawk make batteries for some of the major brands and they have some own brand ones which are just as good. I’ll be getting some to test and will make a video on that.
But for me I generally use critical batteries

The average battery life on it is around 8hours I’d be interested to see how you are using it to get the 20 hour mark.

Hi, I wouldn’t be able to answer that as I don’t have a humming bird bronc.
Just had a look online, that’s the copy of the xion. Even though it looks the same shape you would need to check the measurements etc against the lightning bolt.
