I bought a car like this brand new in '79. Same paint scheme. Mine had the T-tops,cloth interior. Had 40,000 miles on it when I sold it. Was my favorite car
I still have my 1979 Dodge Magnum XEGT I bought new back in 1979. Always garage kept. 25,000 miles now. Red T tops GT stripes E58 360. still like New. Original Paint.
Watching 5 yrs after the posting, but still love’n it! I had its (slightly) bigger bro - a 79 300, in spinnaker white with red and blue pin stripes and a “Corinthian” red leather interior. It was mine from the early 90’s till the early 2000’s. I used it ax a daily driver even though I had three other vehicles at the time (an Astro van, a chev S10, and a Suburban) the 300 was just so much more fun! I sold it unrestored, but with new spinnaker white paint from the correct paint code, and new correct pin stripes (had them made from pre- paint measures and photos - expensive pin stripes!) I got a good $ for it, but they’re very undervalued as collectibles to this day! Peacd
The T Top in that paint scheme is what made me fall in love with it If you can find the car ad for this one, you’ll know what I mean Had a 79 St Regis, Trans failed Twice after rebuild,That year sucked because of the Electronic Worthless Spark control Worst Mopar creation ever and I love Mopars
@@slantsix6344 Yes the E58 is a police tuned 360 this option is more rare in the 78 model year because only 190 magnums had this option with heavy duty police brakes, dual diaphragm brake booster power steering cooler and heavy duty transmission cooler. While the normal 2 barell 360 with the lean burn system was 170 h.p.(due to California emissions) the E58 added 20 more horsepower with a 4 barrel and no lean burn. Yes the option is rare in 1978 but very little power was added due to the gas crunch.

I bought a 79 Magnum GT new. I ordered it with every option they made. Window sticker was $11.300. That was a lot in those days.
I had a 78. Beautiful car. I miss her more than any other

Very nice car, owned a 1978 brand new when I was 19, wished I still had it. How much for the 79?
You will never get a price from these type..They keep it a secret to get you to call or come in to then pressure you.
The body style is nice. I herd some people had issues with it in 1979. However at a local car show someone but a Hemi engine in it
Nice car with the E58 engine option.
Is that the 360?

That baby sounds good.
Keep it! Chrysler Corp lost me in 78'. Moved to Toyota. Thanks for the memories Chrysler.
Love that fine Corinthian leather, LOL. How much did you get for her, if you don't mind me asking?
What a sweet ride I was only 8 lol
Needs an exhaust system.
Like to know if y'all still have this car and what is the price and where is the car located.....
Are these good cars for beginners ?
