I was worried about sounding too arrogant when using phrases like "I will" or " belong, " as if I was already accepted. Do you think it could harm our chances or do you think colleges like to hear the confidence?
Personally, if I were an admissions officer, I think the confidence would be appealing. I used similar wording in some ‘Why Us’ essays. The phrases don’t seem arrogant whatsoever

It would be v diff to get in if you dont do any extracurrics at all, are u sure u haven't played a sport at all or u havent participated in anyth like no quizzes, debates, olympiads? nothing at all?
you still have time if u are sending in your application at the end of the year, volunteer, do ANYY social work, give money to a charity or support an ngo anyth

I want to get to Yale and Harvard but I come from a low income family in Texas :( My IQ is only 110 and we're struggling financially.
Don’t put yourself down. Work as hard as you possibly can, and people who are from low income families still get accepted. You just have to find a way to make their system work for you, and you could always transfer schools if you don’t get in the first time.
