All the videos that I've watched everyone starts logging and logging and logging so I just chainsawed a bunch of trees down until I could afford the deer Forest harvester and now it's easy
I think that's Because most say "No Loans or Leasing allowed"
Its cuz everyone doesn't "cheat" by leasing equipment or taking out big loans and buying

@hakonmrdre2068 idk why that's cheating, that's what farmers do irl is lease or get a loan on equipment and make barely enough to get by until they pay it off or grow enough
Man i love how he doesnt drag out the video and shows short clips of each step and has commentary with it, it makes the video seem shorter than it is and to me it makes it 100x more enjoyable

Also i think one thing you forgot is that if you want to get the silage price from the wrapped bales you have to wait until they ferment so i would say you wrapped those bales for nothing
Two things. One, you lose output for grass when harvesting in the rain (or something like that). Second, silage needs time to convert. You can't just wrap grass and sell it. You just sold grass.
I actually recognize every farming machine(?) from the beginning because my grandpa has several open fields that do nothing but grow grass so he eventually started to do exactly what you did and just bale it and sell it. The thing that makes all the grass into a straight line is actually quite loud and the spokes are relatively flimsy
Us farmers just call it a rake. There's a few different styles/sizes/types depending on the type of grass you're working.

yeah i own and use a case 1030 on my grandfathers farm. Thing fires right up like it brand new, 50 years after rolling off the production line.
Silage has been my go to crop for money.
As far as I know, grass doesn't need to be planted again after harvest, so that saves you on seeds. And it grows year around.
Save yourself another pass - hitch the baler to the back of the windrower (if it has a hitch option). That way, it's only three passes: 1) mow, 2) windrow/bale/wrap, and 3) collect.
Unless, of course, the baler is PTO-driven, in which case it would most certainly count as unrealistic.
The baler needs a PTO to run, so that is impossible, but if u had a tracter running right behind the raker, it might work
1.Mow 2.Bale 3.Collect 4.ROLL
It makes me so happy to see a case 1030 on here, we farm with an 830 out in the sticks here, the antiques do a good job and take a beating!
For grass to silage use the forage wagon and fermenting silo. It's way faster to do than wrapping, collecting, and transporting bales.
Unless you use the vicon fastbaler with bale autoload wagons
I like mower on front, baler w/ auto wrap on back, then a trailer to load behind that. Works fast and good :-)

Western Wilds is an amazing map if you want to start a farm from scratch. I do wish there was a few more selling points although. The train yard is a little unbalanced considering it gives you a huge price over all the other selling points and there's no point in selling to anything but the train yard

I still have nightmares from Farming Simulator 2009 when it used to take me hours to use the damn forks to neatly stack some bales on a trailer
I don't think they have the super strength mod in the game for consoles yet
@@DrunkenVtec the small bales in the beginning you can load with hand, but bgger bales you cant
Don’t know if it helps but theres a autoloader 53’ trailer for bales both round and square, it also unloads for you with you in control 😁

Im trying to make a series like this starting from 0, on a 16x map with some custom placeables im making but focusing around dispatching and goods management so everything has to go through a goods facility before being sold, and such as dry goods and chilled goods get stored separately and all that
Klutch u could be making even more bales if u picked up those missing parts of grass u could prob make around 7-10 maybe more bales

I am playing FS22 and i have played FS19, 22 etc for MANY houers but there is one problem i have, i whuld like to play as realistic as possible but the only thing is that everyting takes sooo long to make and when you are done you start over agen, any tipps on how to play FS22 realistic and have fun at the same time?

In game, you can play real time if you want or advance time as you see fit in game when you need crops to grow and there’s nothing else to do
