You're the first capsule wardrobe I see that has no jeans in it and I adore that! I always want to see feminine flowly styles for inspiration but everyone is wearing denim and things that I just would never wear. Thank you for sharing your beautiful garments!
There’s something about this that just makes me feel peaceful. I’m binge watching your stuff. Because of you I cleaned out my junk drawer and already feel relief just from that!
I love that you wear dresses, so easy, comfortable and pretty. I’m so tired of the capsule wardrobe tropes like black blazers. You always inspire. Thanks for living vegan 🌱 💚🙏🏻
Yes, me too! Thank you too. I always smile when I see you write about veganism. I have decided to make my first video on ethical veganism soon! so important, so I will get out of my comfort zone and do it ❤❤❤
Such beautiful dresses, so romantic! I have often wanted to own long, flowy dresses but afraid I would look silly or out-of-place. I am 66 years old now and realizing I shouldn’t care what others think at this late stage in the game, right? So glad for this video. You have inspired me to take the first step in looking for a long dress or romantic skirt and see where that will take me. So thank you for that! Always a pleasure to see you.
Thank you! Oh yay that made my day ❤️ yes let’s all wear what we want! I used to also not buy flowy dresses because I was scared of looking overdressed. But now I am just happy trying my best not to care what people think! 🥰
I moved to a new city last year with nothing but one suitcase, and at the same time my partner and I got our first place together. It's been challenging for me because we don't have a lot of money and I feel like I definitely need some new pieces in my wardrobe since I have a different lifestyle and live in a different climate now, as well as we are in the process of furnishing our home. He is less passionate about minimalism than i am, and I just have to say your content has really made me remember who I am and has brought me back to myself. Thank you for sharing your journey with us. You're making a really positive impact :)
Omg, finally I found someone like me, I'm a minimalist with a romantic feminine style, I almost only wear midi, flowing dresses, in the future I want to have only dresses, they my favorite piece of clothes. I don't wear pants, only joggers to exercise.
Yes I don't like to wear jeans either! I have a pair and I even sewed these pretty patches onto them, but I'm thinking of letting them go... I'm inspired by you making your own pants!
I recently found your videos and I LOVE them. Such a beautiful closet tour. Reminds me that you can still be chic being a minimalist🤍 I think you should keep the cool clogs!
Love your dresses, I always secretly loved wearing flown dresses but I don’t think they suit me. I have a bold personality and a dreamy idealistic side to me so I would like ideas how to reconcile that in my clothes thought You didn’t mention the top you’re wearing pretty one 🥰
I would love a video on how to care for your clothes. I mostly have synthetic fabrics since I used to shop fast fashion and even thrift stores are filled with synthetic materials mostly 😊
Yes! I actually filmed one but accidentally deleted all the footage... But I really want to make one and I will sure to include caring for synthetic fabrics too 😊
I Love your dresses. I really want that blue dress from free people since one year. This Summer i will order it 😊 i also have a minimalist wardrobe. My husband has so much more clothes than me, he loves shopping😆
Thank you! 🥰 yes, I wanted it for a long time too. It is quite comfortable! Haha that’s so funny! My husband can’t get any more clothes because they won’t fit in our wardrobe 😂
I love my skirts and dresses, I hate anything with buttons, so yay elastic waist. I have two pairs of jeans left and I barely ware them except when I am away visiting family as small people can be quite messy and jeans are good for playing on the floor as it protects your knees.
Oh I love your take about minimalist clothes don't have to be monochromatic. I am thinking of donating and selling my clothes and build my own minimalist wardrobe this year but with an autumn-spring color palette.
Your husband's wardrobe is incredible! I saw it! Impressed! I could never do it though. I like having a bit more. Love your dresses. Undies and bras is something that's not minimal in my wardrobe (I think I wrote that in another comment come to think of it lol!). I find that jeans is great when it's cooler weather or pure winter. They still work for me, although my black ones is starting to look a bit worn out (with cat hairs!). Your wardrobe is minimal and beautiful and the dresses - you look so pretty in them
Really loved this!! I'm so for taking care of clothes for as long as possible and having an amount and types of clothes that are suitable for your own lifestyle. Looking forward to seeing your wardrobe evolve slowly over time! Xx
Hi Susie! Thank you so much! Yes, I love that change of mindset too. Really changed everything for me xx hoping you will like my video on how I take care of my clothes too!
Love your wardrobe…I like to see different peoples focus in their clothing, for instance how you have no shorts, skirts or cardigans 😊 where as I love my shorts skirts and cardigans but not jumpers 😂 I also have jackets but not a waterproof coat - abit silly of me in England 😂 I currently have 46 items but I am trying to slowly reduce my items even more but through sustainably wearing them out. As you also mention about certain plastic clothing - that you keep it for as long as possible as the plastic in certain garments are unavoidable 👙. I’m just wondering 🤔 whether cotton crochet bikinis even have plastic? - Gosh, avoiding plastic is hard work 🥵 😂. I meant to also add I have a minimalist necklace similar to your vegan one that I got from etsy shop coined minimalist where a proportion of profits go to PETA / GREENPEACE & Friends of the earth 🌍 which are trying to combat plastic use.
Thank you so much! Yes that's so true. I always wanted to wear cardigans but could never match them 😂 Cotton crochet bikinis might not have plastic, but they might struggle with how long they last. Especially being used in the ocean. But I am thinking next time I buy a bikini I might try a crochet one, if I find one that is sort of modest. Yes, it is a lot of effort! That is so fun to hear! I will definitely look into that Etsy shop! I love my necklace and I love combating plastic! ❤️
Hola! Me encanta que hagas tu propia ropa de lino, yo estoy aprendiendo a coser porque también quiero fabricar mi ropa en lino, me podrías dar algunos consejos al respecto y si es posible mandarme los moldes para hacer el vestido y pantalón? Saludos!
Hola! Absolutely ❤ my tips are 1. Learn to sew “French seams”. They make linen clothing last longer and feel professional. 2. Start easy. Scrunches, T-shirt’s and big dresses are very easy to make. And nice to wear! 3. All my patterns come from www.fabrics-store.com/sewing-patterns. Just select “free”. And they even have instruction - so good for learning. My dresses I mixed and matched different patterns to make something I wanted. And the pants are the “Moroccan pants” ❤ Good luck!!!
Takk for fine videoer !!
Hi I only wear dresses AND skirts, AND 2nd hand..ITS hard to find skirts that I really like AND feel confortable wearing them, plus that love light colores and no patterns,☺️
Over the past several years, I have gotten rid of almost all my clothes except for dresses. I find pants uncomfortable (partly due to severe IBS). There is just something so simple about a dress - I put on my bra and bike shorts and then throw a dress over the top. No need for trying to match anything. It makes life so much simpler.
Yes! I even do the same in winter. Hide some leggings underneath (sometimes I even pull them up just so they don’t show), a knitted sweater and super cute outfit just like that! I also always buy loose leggings since my tummy starts hurting every time I wear something tight.
Hi I’ve just found you thank you for doing a minimal wardrobe video with feminine dresses! I feel the same as you do about jeans and also for me shorts . Great video thank you!
Hi. Sorry for my late reply 😮 I have separate indoor / outdoor clothing but keep it all in the same apartment. New Zealand is a warm country so very easy. In Sweden I would have a separate wardrobe. I used to have a pajamas but now I just do without
Enjoying your videos and the dresses. I like how u don’t have jeans haha I feel like I need to keep them even though they are not comfortable and I hardly wear them. Always prefer comfy clothes but am trying to also look stylish and not wear sweatpants haha. Am curious about ur travels and what u were doing while living overseas, and how u met ur husband, if u ever do a Q&A? ^_^
Thank you! Haha yes jeans I kept until I started working from home because at least they’re better than fitted pants 🤣 I’d love to make a q&a, and I thought I’d might make a separate video on meeting my husband since it was so crazy
Yes, I found that too. In the beginning I would put away things I didn’t love (that weren’t practical) in a box and store it away. In case I didn’t use it for x amount of time, I would sell it or gift it. I am keeping a few things I don’t love but that are practical. Like my broken work out leggings. And will keep them until they are no longer wearable 🥰
