And the added bonus of seeing them do it so well. A very special reaction in several ways. Thank you.

I strongly believe they often (maybe always) pull back Rob's voice in the studio recordings. Because his voice projects more than the rest of them, I'm sure because of his training, so they have to balance their voices. So when you hear him live you hear the resonance his real voice has. I also think in studio recordings you can't hear the resonance from the environment. Like his voice bouncing of the walls of an auditorium. That's what I hear anyway. Also, like you said, certain songs he's able to use his operatic technique.

This live version shows just how good these guys are vocally. No studio production, just their pure 5 part harmonies. Love Tim starting it out with his smooth bass voice. Rob has such a sweet voice. Also love hearing Adam's voice in this song. These guys are the best a cappella group out there in my opinion. This shows "How Great They Art".

Sad back story. One of the funniest. Sweetest, kindest home fry, and his great wife planned a get together with the boys for before the concert. So many people loved theses two people. Will Ed passed away like the week before the concert. Home Free came to the get together anyway and was so sad and joyful at the same time. Anytime I hear of Kearney, I think of them.

This shows just how good the guys are -- not just as singers with this nigh perfect performance -- but as people -- running through a thunderstorm to bring the bad news in person, and then singing this when they could have just sent someone to tell folks and stayed in the bus. What a gift they shared that night. I noticed about the time Jeremy said he was tearing up that the security guard in the video wiped his eyes. I'd never noticed it before.

I always get chills when I hear this song. One thing that sticks out to me in this video is that when thinking of the video of this song they did when they were in Austria is that you really can't tell much difference between the 2 of them. When you hear/watch a video and then hear the same song at a concert there's usually a big difference because of all the editing and things that are done with a sound board. I've been to so many different concerts with other artist and a lot of the time I'm a little disappointed when I hear certain songs and they just sound so different but this time it's not there. They just kill it!! Maybe it's because it is all acapella, I don't know. I haven't had the pleasure to see these guys live, one of these days they'll be close enough that I can get to one, but I think I'm going to see and hear what I hear when I throw in a CD

This is a prime example of why Home Free's community has grown like it has. And why we are as open and welcome as we are. Look at who we are following. These gracious men lead with grace and class even as they have gone from being "unknown" performers at fairs/festivals to being openers for Reba, headliners in their own right, and even collaborators with some of the greatest legends of our time (who were influencers of each of the members). This is how to "celebrity."

They were standing on a picnic table under an outside shelter "pavilion" where some, but not all of the audience took shelter at during the outside concert. Home Free decided to walk or run in the rain to the pavilion (Tim looked the wettest) and sing that song for the audience under the shelter during a thunderstorm. They are the sweetest, most humble guys.

The back story on this concert. There was a fry named Ed who was a great amateur photographer who got close to the guys over the years. He tried to arrange to have the guys come to his hometown of Kearney for 2 years. He was finally able to arrange it but he died 2 weeks before the concert. The fries were having a meet-up before the concert and they guys came to it early to spend some alone time with his widow. Then they stayed and ate with the fries. This concert both before and after is a perfect example of why these guys will always have a special place in my heart.

The first concert I was supposed to see wasn't cancelled but a arctic storm hit that day and A LOT of people couldn't go and I was one of them because my ride had to cancel. The guys put on their instagram page for anyone still trying to come to the show to be very careful. I posted I'd been waiting for months and now had to miss it but for them to be safe heading out tonight. Luke (their manager) told me to email him my info (name and number of tickets) and when I did he told me that he put me on list for tickets the next time they were here. I was stunned because most artists would have taken the ticket money and said "Oh Well."

This song means a lot to me but when you add the Home Free spin, it's just beautiful and bittersweet. My dad was a talented musician. He could play any instrument he picked up and had a beautiful bass singing voice. When I was growing up, I remember he listened to a lot of music that placed a lot of emphasis on harmonies, including groups like Oak Ridge Boys and Alabama. He also sang in a Gospel quartet when I was young. He was especially fond of A Capella. One of his absolute favorite songs of all time was How Great Thou Art. When he passed, his wife got an old friend of theirs to play it at his funeral on my dad's original musical instrument from high school marching band - a euphonium. He died of pancreatic cancer in April 2014. I really hate that he passed before I knew of Home Free. I would have loved introducing him to their music.

I love this video - they're just standing on a picnic table, no sound system & they kill it. Insofar as the tickets, I know when they couldn't finish a European tour 'cuz of the impending airport lockdowns from Covid, people could hold onto their tickets and they'd re-schedule (they did so after the lockdowns were lifted).

Home Free concerts will continue on in the rain, but I think there was thunder and lightning, and that’s what stopped the show. 3 or 4 songs in, I think I remember reading. HF couldn’t just go off and leave those die hard fans waiting in storm. And this special moment resulted.

Prayer of praise for Tina's niece, Everly, navigating chemo/radiation successfully and for a cancer free life. Cancer is a tough foe when you are an adult, I know from experience, much less a child. For Everly's parents and family, our prayer is for continued perseverance and patience. Recover always seem to take longer because you want things back to normal. Jillian and Jeremy thank you for sharing Everly's story. It never hurts to know that even relative strangers care about your challenges and you are not alone. ☺ Home Free always delivers no matter what the circumstances. Every year I am more and more impress by the way these very down to earth guys conduct themselves. I am also impressed with you guys and the heart you display every time I tune in. Yes, even if you don't listen to the words, the music itself is fantastic.
At the end, it was Tim who was high when you mentioned it, but the next 'high' was Austin dropping the melody to Rob and taking the high. That high note was passed from voice to voice throughout the song. You can see it a bit better in this one, which was shot basically from behind Austin: ua-cam.com/video/otXfVaMY2yQ/v-deo.html

God is Great! He still performs miracles everyday. So grateful this baby is cancer free. I pray His perfect healing continues on her.
