  • Hello Friends,
    As you all know I am Neeraj Kumar jangler and you are watching hashtag India. I know you feeling sad because of my studio that doesn’t have good soundproofing. And now I solved the problem of soundproofing in my studio. I suggest you all not to buy acoustic panels and acoustic foam because I research they did not make any difference in your studio and the disturbing noise will be there after the installation of acoustic insulation or acoustic foam sheets. You will still feel sad and disappointed after installing acoustic panels ads they are not making any difference in the studio. I did a lot of research and thought to use some good soundproof material and sound absorber for my studio and then I tried my theory on a small room first to make my room soundproof and then I converted my small room to soundproof room and soundproof door. I used sound absorber soundproof foam to soundproofing walls and they become my sound insulation. My sound insulation is soundproof sheets or sound absorbing panels or sound panels. Now let me tell you the cost to soundproof a room and sound dampening.
    Now let's move to my studio soundproofing. I rejected all acoustic panels and acoustic foam and I brought soundproof material soundproof foam sheet to soundproof studio room. After installation of sound absorbing materials in my studio it was great noise cancellation and good voice experience.
    And even I would like to suggest to install soundproof in your studio. Don’t do sound dampening with any of acoustic foam sheets or acoustic insulation. I suggest you watch the viral video to soundproofing your studio.

    man there's a huge difference in acoustic foam and the foam used to build a sofa. sofa by itself is good at absorbing bass frequencies if you have studied audio production you will come to know this. sofa foam in any way is not capable of absorbing high and mid frequencies. acoustic foam is expensive and it is engineered is such a way that it absorbs pretty all frequency bands. also, if you want a decent acoustic treatment, you never need to install foam or panels on all of your walls. there are acoustic engineers out there who by seeing the placement of your monitors decide where to place acoustic panels or acoustic foams on the walls of your room. they even use mathematics to do that which is why they're trained and known as "Acoustic Engineers" or "Studio Engineers". Apart from that, to anyone reading this comment, if you want to build your studio (even of a very beginner level), go get a book on how to build your studio. after finishing the book you'll have a decent idea on what to look for when it comes to different acoustic foam technologies & which one would be the best for you; how are speakers placed and what must be done to cancel out the reverb of the room. also to the owner of this channel, I'd say, go have a look at professional studios (you can find plenty of photos of these amazing worldclass studios on instagram) - you'll find that most of them have acoustic panels installed. Intermediate studios have Acoustic foam installed and studios which are used to research in the field of acoustic treatment and developing acoustic technology has an-echoic chambers (which is a whole new different kind of acoustic technology, useless to studio guys though). but no one installs sofa foam on the walls lol. The point is not to install the same acoustic panels / foams a world class studio would, but still to know that sofa foam in any way isn't the right choice. if you want to setup your studio and are starting off, go with the acoustic foams available on amazon. there's a perfect reason why these forms are expensive. You must know your thing before making a video about it, don't mis-guide people at least... Also btw, to anyone interested in understanding all this acoustic treatment and other things of this engineering field, it is known as "acoustical engineering". You can find plenty of books about it on google, just in case you wanna study the subject :)

    One honest suggestion: Everything your adviced was correct other than the purpose. You were giving a cheap diy solution for sound resonance or reverberation in the room. You can not soundproof a room with that. May be reduce the sound progression to other rooms or structures a bit, but noway sound proof the room, but for sure can take away 80% of echoing or resonance resulting in a great studio.

    • @AbhishekSharma-nm1fx
      @AbhishekSharma-nm1fx 3 роки тому +1

      @@madhurawal1722 Again "more important" depends upon the need. What exactly you want to achieve? For your purpose of small recording studio: yes sound reflections are most important and not really sound absorption. But these are numerous situations where the later is important and reducing the resonance won't do a damn. The thing is calling sound reflection: what it is Sound reflection. In your video you kept talking about sound absorption, but gave a cheap diy solution for reducing resonance. You should have used sound reflection as the problem for which you are giving a solution. Hope you got my point. Though the idea was good but nowhere professional. Also, the density of foam will vary from application to application. No offence but make videos full proof before you post and proof listen them about the information provided. . Thanks

    Please stop spreading misinformation and falsehoods under the pretense of cheap prices and boastful home solutions that have nothing to do with the science of acoustic treatment. Anyone looking to produce music in a room should disregard everything that's has been said in this video. This video only addresses Sound isolation from outside the room. Depending on the size of a room, materials need to be applied to for 3 purposes. Absorption, diffusion and bass trapping. These vary according to budget and the purpose of the room for example, an audio mixing room will be treated differently than a vocal booth, or a sole music producers room. Please google these topics and there's ample information to get you started on the long journey of making your room sound better. Please accept that music production while an art, is also a science and requires a minimum expenditure. Do not shy away from investing in your room properly. Bhale 4 mahine paise bachalo thode and fir karo.All the best

    Acoustic treatment is a deep subject. Think about musical instruments and how they sound in an empty room and in a room that has all the sofa, carpet, and pillows. I am sure you will notice that the room that has a sofa, carpet, and pillows gives you a pleasant sound. And it has to be balanced. It's not like let's keep more sofas and more stuff so we get more quality. Now soundproofing in a studio has acoustic treatment (I have been in a recording studio) where the smallest sound is picked by a microphone. That room usually has carpet all around including walls. Now how much thickness these carpets should be, only a sound engineer can tell you depending on what instrument we play. So, as I told you, it depends on the purpose. Avoiding echo is the first step for sure, blocking the outside noise and adding acoustic treatment, all these can't be achieved in the budget you mentioned. However, I appreciate your efforts in solving your problem. But people who think this will solve their problem too, need to assess their own needs and then make a plan.

    Acoustic panels have nothing to do with sound-proofing. Sound-proofing (or isolation) is accomplished in the construction of the room. Acoustic panels have a completely different application. They make the listening environment more pleasing by absorbing unwanted reverberation, comb filtering, etc.

      @Aditya-kz7gi 3 роки тому

      Hey there friend...from what I understand...in this method you are basically reducing the sound from a 100 to about 40 percent...where as with acoustic foams give you about 10 percent of sound in the room...these foams are designed in a shape that stops sound waves from bouncing around in the room...when it comes to this foam which isn't designed for this purpose...it's not going to work as well as the acoustic foams...I would suggest doing both...the Ac foams are costly...so get a few of them...and for the rest of the area use this

    Is this foam fire proof? If not in case of fire hazard foam will burn like petrol. Safety should be prime concern. For acoustics and fire retardant use Rock wool panels.

    Bohot mehnat karni padegi bhai acoustic science samajhne mein, acoustic treatment aur sound proofing ke farq ko samjhane mein aur samjhaane mein. Aur saath hee apne presentation ko sankshep mein crisplly present karne mein.
    Lots of preparation and Practice... Practice... Practice..
    Koshish hai definitely, par aur bohot saara mehnat chaahiye both content and presentation mein.
