  • We took advantage of yet another brownout to visit Bato Springs Resort in San Pablo Laguna. We went swimming, had a picnic lunch and an otherwise great day there.

Beautiful resort! What did Jen put on her plate first? 😂 Duh! Hope the food was good. Odd there wasn't anyone else there.

You know the rice comes first, lol. We were there at 4 pm so it was kind of early and the restaurant was still without electricity as it was in the brownout zone. The food was great 🙂

There are a few areas that have geothermal power plants but the majority come from oil fired plants. I haven't heard of any coal plants but not sure about other areas of the country. Thanks as always for dropping by 🙂

How often do you get brownouts? Here in Davao City (Catalunan Pequeno area) we get them once in a blue moon and then they only last less than 30 minutes usually less. I know the infrastructure and crime/safety rates here are better due to the political connections. We are also currently paying about 9.25 kWh

Here lately they have been coming more frequently than we would like but it seems they are upgrading the system. We average about 40-50 dollars monthly. Thanks for watching.🙂
