Roughly how much did this whole setup costs?

Are you using a regular charger on the start batteries in conjunction with the high amp lithium charger? Or is the DC DC charger bidirectional?

The start batteries are charged with the charger that comes on the vessel and that remains unchanged. The battery to battery charges that we use only work one way.

How long do the batteries power the ac? How long would it take for batteries to charge back up?

Batteries will power the air for 12hrs running at full speed due to the extra 250Ah added for the inverter. Standard setup gives 8hrs at full speed or 12.5 hrs at minimum speed with both units running. From dead batteries to fully charged, this setup would take 8-9 hrs to charge.

What is the BTU for the unit?

Each unit is 7,000BTU. We have one for the helm area and a second that cools both lower cabins

My goal is to eliminate my generator, 4kw fisher panda. I have one Air con unit with two small spaces in my cat boat, 32 ft. One side is a small bunk and the other is the head. I think your video is saying, "yes, you can do it!". right?

The short answer is yes but it still greatly depends on use. For a full day out on the water and even overnights, this system is the ideal way to go. For longer trips, we need to start considering how the bank will be recharged (solar, shore power, engines) and see if that would work for you.

@@MabruPowerSystemsINC I spoke to Omar. He was very helpful. It sounds like you have a great system.
