- Decided to have a flick down at an urban creek in cairns city and resulted in an industrial behemoth of a mangrove jack 😉

Rod - Daiwa td hyper v2 3-7kg
Reel - Daiwa excellor lt 2500D
Braid - 15lb j-braid grand 8 strand
Leader - 20lb sun line fc rock
Lures - 4 inch diesel minnows + 3.5 inch zerek flat shad

I’ve got a Bung knee and just got out of a surgery so it’s a bit of a struggle to get down to the waters edge. Plus I have to thrown them in a this spot because it’s a croc zone.
Future videos though I’ll do some proper water releases in safe waters

As long as your rod can handle thicker line casting you should be right having heavier leader like 30lb on 20lb main line or something
