Some times those dreams have alternate meanings, if you have an open mind for it. Like a dream of running away from something you cant see that you have every night.
Agents of Shield sort of made it explainable how Cap could have gone to the same timeline at teh end of Endgame...It is a time machine that can travel between universes AND time.

Physics soon-to-be graduate here: quantum mechanics is VERY real, all chemical and subatomic phenomena are regulated by it! It's Everett's Many Worlds *interpretation* of the theory that physicists still debate about. Also, time dilation near massive objects like black holes is a VERY real phenomenon: digital clocks on GPS satellites orbiting around the Earth have to be programmed to match time at sea level because their time is slightly (but not negligibly) faster than ours.
ALSO also, you might be interested in the idea that particles of antimatter can be interpreted as particles of matter travelling back in time! Look up "Feynman-Stückelberg interpretation"
PS: I think there's an episode of Supernatural featuring a Type 6 mechanic

Dark covered time travel the best for me. Enough mystery to make it fun, but enough explanation to make it feel real. Bummed this wasn't included as I feel it's one of the best/most original sci-fi projects to come out in recent years.

I think there is a distinction between receiving information from the future and predicting the future based on information in the present. The former I consider time travel of the information and the other is prediction imo
for the Groundhog day, i would also mention an episode from the Star Gate (Window of Opportunity), where two characters relive the same day over and over again. mine favorite episode, tbh.

Although number 8 has some theoretical bases, it is not most realistic. The time stretching version is not a theory, it's reality. Satellites in the Earth's orbit are calibrated to this time distortion effect, or else our GPS (or anything dependant on satellites) would not work. Hence, this is most realistic version, it is actually reality.
I know this didn't get mentioned because it's technically a game, and not a film, but Quantum Break used several kinds of time travel. I would love to see those unpacked! 😃
I have loved timetravel since i was a kid in the 90's. Predestination became my favorite film when I saw it at release. Probably it had always been my favorit film, I just discovered that it was so then.

my favorite "it always happened" movie was the rom com "The Lake House" with Sandra Bullock and Keanu Reeves
Honestly agents of sheild done a decent job at filling the plot holes of end games time travel rules, saying that the quantum realm allows you to travel between timeliness as well as through time
Wether those plot holes existed in the universe or our heads, this helped me understand it

This was a really well thought out video I thoroughly enjoyed it.
It always baffles me when people say that Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban is an example of "this always happened" time travel. Ask yourself why they're time traveling. To save Sirius and Buckbeak. If they always saved Sirius and Buckbeak, they wouldn't time travel, and yet they do. So there are moments of "this always happened" like with the patronus. But there are things that they change from the previous version

Great video ... being a Time travel geek myself just absolutely loved it .... the mention of Primer was an absolute treat ... that was definitely the most realistic version of time travel .... however a little disappointed that the best depiction of time travel on screen did not get a mention .... yup talking about Dark (TV Series) here ....
Another good example of the Unstuck Mind theory is the Series Travelers .... really loved it ....
'Also .... these are not movies .... but the games like the Prince Of Persia Warrior Within and Bioshock Infinite .... both had these awesome concepts of multiple realities branching out from a single point yet everything just also kind of meant to happen ..... POP showing two versions of your character existing side-by-side within the same timeline yet there was technically only one version and you were using the other version to sort of be at the right place at the right time ..... and Bioshock Infinite with all the multiple universe shenanigans resulting from the choice of the path taken by your character .... those were just great storytelling ....
Could reincarnation be considered a form if time travel? Perhaps for the soul. Kinda like in Cloud Atlas.
one of the major reasons i like and respect the time travel in harry potter so much is because i didn't expect it. it didn't sell itself as a time travel movie, and yet it pulled it off so gracefully (i never read the books)

The Big O, Season 1 and 2. Doesn’t really deal with time travel as much as events that keep repeating themselves over and over again. But the outcome changes every time. I’m not sure which category it would fall under. It’s a great anime and worth looking into.

Honourable mentions: Sliding doors with Gwyneth Paltrow. Branch timeline but emphasises on what Erik says about changing one thing can make you miss the love of your life.
The Lake House with Keanu and Sandra Bullock and a mailbox that sent messages between a two year gap. I feel it is a bit like looper as it would technically always happen but there is choice.

I think you just mixed up Petter Sarsgaard and Liev Schreiber, it was definitely the latter who was in Kate & Leopold and played Sabretooth.
I noticed that too. And Peter Sarsgaard isn’t even in Kate & Leopold. The other main male character besides Hugh Jackman and Liev Schreiber is Kate’s brother played by Breckin Meyer (shown in the pic with Liev Schreiber at 22:17).

Here is one big problem with time travel that I don’t see anyone is talking about. Let say you are able to go back in time, where are you dropping? Note that the earth is constantly moving in space, the solar system is constantly moving in the galaxy, and our galaxy is also moving. What is our point of reference to lock us in a specific space in a specific time?
Two time travel tv series/movies not mentioned: the final episode of Star Trek Next Gen where Picard jumps all over the place in time; and Somewhere In Time with Christopher Reeves, which is one of the films Rhodie lists in endgame.

I read the curse child the week the "book" (script) came in. I'd love to go watch it due to it sounding amazing with the stage directions but yeah the story isn't even hot trash because it would help people stay warm its just the worst.
