Giving Up Coffee - 2 Months Later

- I gave up coffee two months ago, and I'm not going to lie. It was hard. But it was definitely worth it. I'm consistently sleeping good for the first time in a very longtime and my stomach is much happier.
I stopped drinking coffee for a year and half. Slept much better. More sustained energy for through the day. Less hungry in the morning. Less anxiousness. Recently started with small amount of coffee and already affects my sleep! Glad it’s going well for you!
Yes, I know exactly what you mean by the half sleeping experience. A very shallow sleep. That's how I slept on coffee too and now it's way better - much deeper and more satisfying and enjoyable. Well worth giving up coffee just for that alone, apart from all the other benefits. I'm on day 9 now of being caffeine free. Thanks!
I tried once before and I literally felt like I couldn’t fully wake up, and it went on for so long that I just had to start again because it was making my job difficult…I want to quit but it’s really tough.. sleep was amazing during that time though
Almost at 2 months not drinking coffee and I feel so good. Yes the sleep is incredible and that for me would be the best benefit. Also I feel more energized, less dependant on something to “wake me up” and more calm. It’s a great feeling, my stomach also was giving me grief and it’s much better. I also do not have as much pain as I used to have. (Not sure if this is related but wanted to add just in case) Overall I feel so much better and the cravings for coffee are less strong and less often.
Wow, you were drinking a lot of caffeine! That's great you are sleeping better now!
Yeah, I really was! And I had no clue it was having a negative affect on me until I quit drinking it.
@@ItsMandy yeah that's why I don't drink caffeine anymore either.
I stopped drinking coffee 2 years ago, and recently I drank a cup from Dunkin’ Donuts and I felt sooo spaced out. I’m super sensitive to it now, I guess I’ll continue to stay away from it. Are you still coffee-free Mandy? Lol I hope so
No, not 100%. But I mostly drink tea and when I do occasionally have coffee I try to only drink half a cup which is sooo much less than I use to drink. Good for you for giving it up completely though! I will get there, I've just never been great at "cold turkey".
@@ItsMandy thank you.
Are you Coffee free still?
I usually just have one good cup
