I recommend you leave the skin of the seed and the chopped up seed to steep in the tea for a couple more minutes… the color becomes a lot deeper red.. it’s amazing. And then i throw the boiled seed into my smoothie and blend.
Good video my friend!! You were spot on about not adding honey to the boiling hot tea, but you forgot that your favourite mug is made of plastic, so stop pouring hot beverages into it otherwise the dissolved microplastics will do more harm than gaining the benefits of the tea.
@RosePigCooking i let mine dry for a day and the outer layer come off easily...then i grate that pit and let the grated pit dry in the sun for a day or 2 and i store it in a glass airtight container ...you are destroying lots of vit and minerals to cook it...if you patient your grated avo pit will have much more health benefits
I also do it this way, but it's a pain to grate down the hard seed. Can I soften it and then grate it? I would keep the water I used to boil it, but grate it and let it dry again

I just made 2 cups of the tea with cinnamon & cloves , we loved it . The tea had a little bite, so it's not for wimps. Thanks so much for the info.
Sounds great… love the cinnamon and clove!

Very true….. and plastic and high heat never mix but the mug is made of ceramic 😀
It doesn't look like plastic to me.

Plz post nutritional information on the seed.
40 calories half of which are from fat, 2g carbohydrates, Vitamins A, B1, B2, C, E all about .20 mg per 100g of avocado seed
Can you use ground cinnamon instead of a cinnamon stick
Absolutely
I left my avocado seeds out at room temperature for more than a month. Can I still use them for tea? Does anyone know?
I would throw them away
@@RosePigCooking okie dokie thank you
What are the benefits of adding Garrick ginger and avocado seed
Can I add fine cinnamon instead of the stick
Yes that will work
@@RosePigCooking how long can I keep the tea to drink it daily?
I got rashes after drinking the tea for the first time. Anyone else experiencing the same?
Why do it cook it...i just let it dry and grate it and let the grated avo pit
completely dry and then store it in a air tight glass container
To remove the outer layer of skin… also helps soften the seed
