Here's a longer than usual video of my TEMU haul = 2 orders, 75 items!

Hopefully this video will help you decide one way or the other if these products are worth it, financially, ethically or otherwise.

YES to plant tour!! I move every 3 years so I never bother to invest in plants but maybe seeing yours could inspire me.
Welcome back! As someone said above, please try to limit buying this disposable plastic crap. Everyone needs to calm down on the buying so much. The plastic ends up in landfills or worse. And now there are GIANT warehouses popping up everywhere!

Just 5 minutes ago I just made my first Temu order. I couldn’t resist a pale blue embroidered pair of ankle boots.
Whenever I order online, I like to write a review and add pictures of what I bought. I also do the same as you and hold the item in my hand so others get an idea of the actual size. I have to say, Temu's customer service is excellent. If something is damaged or missing etc... I state it in my review and then request a refund. Their response is given the same day and usually, they will tell you to keep the item or donate it and that the refund is made.

I worry about buying things that seem so... disposable? if you can afford to purchase better. I know some people cannot and that is fine. I feel the same way about Amazon. The fact that so many things came broken or were broken before the end of the video shows my point. Perhaps a few dollars more would've actually gotten you a better product? The labor practices in China are questionable at best, but i conceed that most things today come from there because our economy means we can't support made in America goods (or the things just dont get made here anymore). Just things I think about and hope maybe other will as well before spending $40 on a bunch of crappy jewelry instead of getting one nicer basic piece that will last for many years.
It is nice to see you again, Lou. I was so excited when I saw your last video that I called my husband over to watch with me. I look forward to more. And I'm dying to know what you're up to on Etsy. That's another can of worms... the people who buy these things and then clog up etsy with it and claim it is "handmade". Yes, by someone's hands, but not by yours. They've driven out a lot of people who genuinely crafted things by hand because everyone wants low prices and doesn't realize what they're buying until too late, but they didn't pay much so they don't complain. When the complaints do rack up they just reopen with a different store name and start again. 🤷🏻♀️ I know everyone has to make a living somehow.
I agree with everything you said 100%. You definitely get what you pay for. And Etsy makes money whether sellers' items are handmade or not. I realized this when I saw someone selling press-on nails. Who made those? 🙄

I've made a few purchases on Temu and I've been satisfied with what I've gotten. A couple products I was actually surprised that it was as good as it was😊

I love your really long videos!
I've been hesitant to order from Temu because it seems like another Wish. I've tried Wish and each time I'm not overly impressed, nor overly disappointed. The products are mostly cheap quality, but will work a few times before either breaking outright or falling apart. I'd rather spend for a little better quality and have it last much longer.
I have a couple of those small humidifiers from amazon. $10 there. They work great! I can put it on my nightstand and it keeps my lungs with exactly the right humidity without putting a gallon of water in my room every day with a big humidifier. No worries of mold growth on stuff, with the little one. Easy to clean, too.
You got some great stuff that I’m going to order now! 😊 Great for plant lovers!
The only plants I have been involved in is in story form with two stories I wrote that involved plants, but different kind of plants. 1 a half spider/tree science experiment species and 2 a half plant/metal alien species.

I just went to the website and everything I clicked on said "sold out". I think that's a sign from above that I don't need another Amazon type of addiction. I'll go on there looking for lightbulbs, and next thing I know my cart is filled with clothes, snacks, some weird contraption of some sort, magical facelift machines...the list goes on and on. I think Amazon doubles as the portal to hell. It's like the song Hotel California - "You can check out anytime you like, but you can never leeeave...". 😬🤪 Good video and good finds, Lou! 🤩👍🏼

THE CAT SPRINGS. One of my boys loves them but gets them all under the fridge. There are probably around 80 of them under the fridge now :)
NONE of my eight cats would play with them! They just ended up being a stepping hazard, so I threw them away. 😖

I don’t think I’d buy made-in-China makeup.
Nearly impossible to avoid, unfortunately. Even most high end makeup is made there. Good factories and bad factories there for sure.
You’ve never bought L’Oréal? Elf?
I won’t buy any cosmetics from there either. I always check the back of the carton/packaging to see where it’s made.
I would love to see you try the makeup and the face tape! Please show the eyebrow pen, I really want to see if it’s worth it

Your orders look like mine, except my cats won't play with toys, my cat toys are instead craft items and purses/pouches to organize my purses lol but yeah, random goodies, if you are even oartially unhappy with something or it's broken, refund it, they've never made me return anything even still wrapped stuff, I've 'returned' 3 things and they said keep, pitch or donate and i did donate all 3

Never tried Temu but I have got some of my favourite clothes items from Shein. Lots of duds too but some really beautiful dresses , blouses and jeans. Oh and shoes ❤
And actually some great cat bits - a nail clipper with a light in it which is game changing! And several wall mounted cat beds/play items

Please be careful with the cat toys and check them from time to time. Jackson Galaxy and my vet both warn of inferior stitching, cats ripping holes and the filling being something that can hurt them, and eyes or whiskers that come loose and are a choking hazard. Some that a friend was given immediately started shedding feathers and the plastics broke down in the sun. You can't see most of it on x-ray and it can cause intestinal blockage if eaten. I love cats and just don't want anyone to lose a furry loved one because of cheap (or even expensive) toys.😢 With that said, have a great weekend everyone! 😄

Not to be a hater on your video at all but I believe Temu has some really awful business practices involving child labor etc. If anyone is thinking of shopping their site do your research first!
I’ve heard such horrible things about this website that they take months to deliver and some people don’t get the items ect but this videos makes me feel like trying them oh no lol
I've ordered 3 times and gotten my items in 12 days, 9 days and 11 days
They are great. I have messaged ti return things and they tell me to keep them and give me my money back. They are very concerned about customer satisfaction.

This video would have been MUCH better if you would have showed in more detail every item. Not just the planters 😕
