    My theory on what's causing this behavior is that it is similar to Palutena's lagless teleport. There's some weird properties when moves slide off ledge - it's like the game doesn't have anything to specifically handle the situation and just gives you immediate control back. For her if you aim her Up-B so that the teleport ends on the edge of ledge or platform but her momentum slides her off edge, she can immediately act. In WFT's case it's an odd interaction with the ledge that is pushing her onto it in a way not expected by the game, probably due to some change they made to Header involving clipping - which would explain why platforms don't exhibit the same behavor since they don't take up space and thus the anti-clipping effect wouldn't apply.

    Hi there I am semi new to fit and the one thing I really need help with is how to get the ball behind you with side B. I can’t tell if it’s timing based or movement based and I haven’t really seen anyone explain it

      Used the ledge. With great timing your ball pop on your back. Need to rush the ledge and whe you will go offstage instant reverse header

    FYI, while Varun and Invy really pushed the tech on twitter, as far as I know Stas found the tech. I don't want to take away from Varun and Invy but I think it would be nice to put his twitter in the description.

      More correctly, this is a technique that's only done from ledge. It's done by dropping off ledge, then immediately double jumping and using header to land laglessly on stage. We got this tech when they changed the properties of the ball spawning in the patch 3.0, which attempted to remove the glitch of the ball spawning inside the stage. So we are found a way to almost trick the system that we attempted to spawn the ball inside the stage as we leave the ledge, and it will spawn in the right position
