They never had radios in the back in NI no point we were in and out of them very quickly. Seat belts weren't worn either . Its unusual to see one in green they were usually multi coloured , seemed to be mostly white splash pattern I recall. They were good hard vehicles that took plenty of abuse from the local population but kept going!
Yeah I remember the sound of the doors crashing of the bodywork as they braked to a sudden stop,then the occupants charging out and bashing anyone stupid enough to be still standing there,
Hi Kevin - yes it was recorded on one of the windiest days last year, and the outtakes are even worse ! - we also had technical problems to add to the difficulties as it's the first video we ever put together.

Driving them in the winter was hard and bloody cold in the early 80’s had to take gearbox internal cover off for warmth 😂
Always liked this vehicle for some reason; probably because I never had to drive or ride in one!
