The guy from LabWHK got every question wrong. He even thought the Burberry is more expensive than the VC. A lot of people selling watches in the industry actually don’t know much about watches. It’s quiet shocking. For the fake watch test, the first thing you would do is wind the crown because the movement is something you cannot fake while the exterior you can as Chinese factories have become very sophisticated.
But the other thing is, the technicians and artisans that makes the watches, are also quite sophisticated in their knowledges too ? And sometimes, you just don't want to say. (Cos this guy is also filming too. lol. ) I am quite impressed by the fact that, there is still this market in HK.... or those that would buy it. Am quite amazed with that auctioned one that reached 700k level.... Quite interesting. Wonder if any auction houses are watching this. It goes to show the craftsmanship that is used to reach those standards, as some are no longer made by hand. Various ones, especially that kind of plasticky looking watch, must be made by machine, cos when he magnified it under the camera, it showed flawlessness... It means that the machine could reach nano-level details. Which is very impressive really. And that metallic look and gloss. It must be one of the precious metail which is rare earth type as well. Hence the price was so high.

今集很有趣。支持未來製作更多類似的街訪。話時話，現在高仿錶技術很好，而用作製錶的機器及物料同真錶所用的也很接近甚至一樣。外觀遠看分不到是很正常，但對名牌手錶稍有經驗的，拿錶在手甚至只是近一點細看都可以分得出真偽。
不過如果在廣華附近作訪問甚至問二手店的話，對名錶較有認識是正常的。如果去西洋菜街(女人街)訪問下附近食客/檔主，相信結果又有明顯的不一樣了。
我覺得你好有誠意，唔係因為手錶，係你好有心地記得被採訪嘅人嘅名👍🏼

老番假錶真係對鐘錶界一種侮辱，金玉其外敗絮其中令人痛心，也是對鐘錶藝術品不尊重。
