15-year-old Turkish boy in London raises money for Gaza

- Omer Olcer, a 15-year-old Turkish boy, raised money by selling clothes adorned with Palestinian symbols to help the people of Gaza caught amid Israel's relentless war on the enclave. With the support of his family and the London Muslim community, Omer raised $12,000 over the last Ramadan, and now he donates it to Islamic Relief UK to be used in the charity's humanitarian efforts in Gaza. When he was only 9 years old, he also raised around $7,000 for the humanitarian crisis in Yemen by designing and selling Eid cards. #Gaza #Fundraise

This Hadith warns the Ummah against antagonising the Turk nation, as they were a very powerful and ruthless nation.
The term ‘Turks’ is a broad one and refers to a wide range of people. This should not be confused with the contemporary usage of this term.
According to some commentators, it referred to the Moguls and Tartars who destroyed several Muslim countries in history under their notorious leader; Jahangir Khan.
Some have stated that the nation of Yajuj and Majuj are also from this tribe.

When there is basically NO aid getting in, one wonders where all the donated money, given by good people in good faith, goes... Corruption is rife.
There are ways legitimate charities are able to get at least some aid into Gaza and every little bit helps. Mansour Shouman comes to mind, he is Palestinian-Canadian and was in Gaza doing journalism about the situation for months, and many from his charity are still there. His organization posts almost daily videos from inside Gaza showing them distributing food and other needed items to displaced families.
Why not raise money for the needy in GB, or isn't that exciting enough for you?
