- It's the 1st day of March and it's been a lovely day today for a balloon flight, this is my second successful attempt without burning the sides! I tried to get as much footage of how my burner works as possible. Apologies for the commentary from me and my dad, dad wanted to have a go at piloting it :)

Wow! I’m an RC fixed wing pilot who’s always had an interest in balloons. Where would you find one of these for purchase?
How did you design the burner. My kid is soooo excited to build one, but we need to know how to design a burner

Does the burner have any kind of proportional control? Might make flying easier if you can simply throttle the burner up to a point and leave it there.

Heyo!
I am about to have soon 10-15 days finished my tissue paper balloon of about 3.5-5ish cubic meters.
And I was wondering what material or fabric I should use for the strings or thin ropes to attach the envelope to the basket.
What did you use for yers?
I haven’t yet finished the basket but it’s underway and I am soon going to start to build the system of 3 candles to heat the balloon with aluminium foil...
So those strings or cables, can be either natural or synthetic?
Twisted or braided?
Any tip is welcome.

I built the basket but not the burner or the balloon herself the balloon was built by AMBalloons :)
I take it you fly this attached to a fishing rod? Youll never loose it

I'm Really Interested In Hot Air Balloons And The Way They Work; Me And My Family Are Looking To Try And Make One And As Both My Parents Work In Sewing And That Kind Of Thing, Making The Envelope Wouldn't Be A Problem! However, We're Stuck On How To Make The Burner, Yours Looks Amazing And Definitely Powerful Enough! Would There Be Anyway You Could Help In Making One Of These Such As Explaining How You Made It? It Would Be Greatly Appreciated! From Dawson ( PS: If Anyone Else Could Give Any Tips Aswell I Would Be Very Grateful! )

Hi FocusSimulation :) I have recently become a pilot of a real hot air balloon, there are some newer videos up and more to come over this year! I don't fly the model much anymore :/
booo, you should fly it....i find rc version much more interesting than real one, funny but true. Cheers anyway, I never knew they existed. Congrats on pilot man too.
