Here’s my problem, when they shift the border to where eastern Oregon becomes part of Idaho, considering the fact that not only Boise and other Idaho cities are fast growing, but Idaho, as a whole is, what is Boise becomes the new Portland, or they just going to want to shift the borders every time one of their cities gets too many liberal voters?

I live in Washington state and we've had the same up here. The eastern half of the state wanted to break away and form a new state because they didn't like the politics and policies of the elected representatives. Unfortunately for them, and the Oregonians who want to join with Idaho, that would require the U.S. Congress to pass legislation in support of it AND the state legislature(s) (in this case Idaho and Oregon) to do the same. Ain't gunna happen.

That only works if you're wealthy. Case in point: SNA [Orange County Airport in Southern California]. It's been there in some small to large form for over 100 years. But, rich folks buying houses in Upper Newport Bay [Newport Beach] complained about the noise and now when you take off from SNA, your plane goes much more steeply upward, while gunning the engines, then levels off and quietly cruises over Newport. Meanwhile, fark the Costa Mesa residents and businesses, and put your hands in the air as if you're on a roller coaster going up it's biggest climb!
I mean... they MOVED into a house directly under the take-off flight path of an International Airport... and then have the nerve to complain about the noise. Fark those guys.

They'd be a larger strain on Idaho's resources and Idaho already leeches more money from the federal government than it returns in GDP so it'd just make Idaho a bigger strain on America as a whole vs just having western Oregon financially support eastern Oregon and thats that

That’s not true. It doesn’t seem like you’ve been there. There is a great amount of scenic beauty in central and eastern Oregon. Most of the state’s beef and wheat and a lot of the rest of the produce is grown there. Is the area as a whole a financial juggernaut? No. Are the people there benefitting from tax income generated by residents of the Willamette valley in the western part of the state? Yes. But it’s far from being “a desolate wasteland.”

A lot of people seem to think of desert land as “worthless,” but I believe that a lot of residents of Utah and Arizona would disagree. Now, as to your other point, the state government of Idaho is definitely not interested in adding a lot of land that essentially generates no net income, it would have to provide the services that the state of Oregon now does, so these separatist people are dreaming a pipe dream.
