    I like this pattern big time. With the low winter flows we have been having, this is such a fishable fly. Really nice to use the deer hair prop for low mass, light weight. Great design.

    Mr Marcus.. have you ever notice fish will pop off more often when u use Intruder wire on a weighted shank? I once hear French say he only uses limp material when putting weight on the shank

      I haven't noticed much difference in the landing rates with wire or limp backing material. To be honest, I think I'd need to be hooking more fish to feel confident that one system has a better hookup ration than the other. Maybe it's time for a trip to Alaska or some place like that
