Last time it was Visual Kei and this time it's influenced by rap. DEVILOOF IS AMAZING. That's talent right there, and it's clear they're experimenting with their music. It's progress, and I'm looking forward to buying this!!
When I first heard this song, it did surprise me but it has grown on me quite a lot, wont stop me pre-ordering the album at all, wishing you would tour the UK in the future, would be a awesome show to go to!!
Well they really jumped off the edge with this Tune! Very difference but the vocals, instrumentals are still heavy & rockin! It's almost ( Nu - Metal-ish.) And as much as it takes some getting use to I can see these guys are expanding their Horizons musically. He's almost rapping inside this song which is ( funny and ironic) Cus I Dig the message inside the song it's like "hey all you Bitch Ass VK bands infusing Pop, Punk, Rap into your Rock and Metal - We are Metal and we're taking this Shit back by force!" Face Punch! P.S. Personally I like how numerous genres are blended into Visual Kei.
Punk /rock is much better than Deviloof, both are not only complex musical styles but also a way of criticizing society's customs like Ramones, The Smiths, Depeche Mode etc have bands very Good metal ones but they understand that if there was no rock, then metal wouldn't exist
At first I really didn't like the vocals, but then the more I looked up the more I love them! Their first couple EPs sounded exactly the same but this album is amazing from front to back!
I love it, it's very well done and branching out into more creativity. I'm happy with Deviloof not becoming another stale deathcore band with only one sound. Diversity and range is a great thing to incorporate into a band if you can pull it off, and Deviloof certainly can. You've still got my attention, fuck all the elitist crybabies.
@@briang2471 as someone from the UK sorry but the US was not justified in nuking Japan.... you cab spew all of the indictrinated bullshit taught to you by US schooling but that is all nothing but lies and war propaganda japan was about to surrender before they were nuked
@@steventaylorgroom Wrong. The first bomb was dropped on Hiroshima, and then the allies asked for surrender. It did not happen. The next was dropped on Nagasaki 3 days later. Without the dropping of either bombs, a full scale invasion of Japan would have cost millions of lives, including Japanese, American, and British lives. The Japanese would have given the Allied powers absolute hell to defend their homeland. I'm so glad it didnt come to that. My original comment was toward someone who doesnt have a little more sympathy towards the Japanese people, as if their timestamp was something to laugh about. It's not. War is hell and I'm grateful that Japan is one of our strongest allies, and making fucking awesome deathcore.
For those wondering why this sounds "different", there are some definite hip-hop overtones in this song (which is a first for them). He's basically rapping the verse.
i been listening to metal since a 4 yr old, started with heavy metal like metallica iron maiden and other bands that my dad showed me, then i started going heavier naturally, just metal evolution. I've listened to shit thats heavier than this but it doesnt matter. i like this bands style. I could listen to it all day while delivering pizza lol.
Badass! :) I indeed love their songs. This song sounds inspired by Slipknot or other similar bands. Their diverse music styles may indicate their assertive attitude toward typical categorizations. Anyway, hopefully they will give us crazy songs more and more.
This very different from what i expect from this band but it is good and some people might say this is generic but i really dont see that a lot of bands are taking this type of approach now of days This song is catchy amazih work guys
This song and album are no longer available on Spotify :( PLS HELP i require this in my daily routine or i shall not survive for much longer... ok maybe bit exaggerated but...you know
This song is fucking awsome!♥ I'm looking forward to the new album. It's great that they work together with ryo...the music video really reminds me of "wither mind"
So uhm yeah cool you're doing so many styles right I love how not only you guys change but you evolve to be better not just different. I really cant wait for you guys to find black metal :D
It definitely was a new take on their sound, what with Escape sounding a lot more fresh and different. Though I’m not a huge fan of rap with metal, I do love this wonderful combination of it. Fucking love the lyrics though it felt very flat around the chorus. Love your English Keisuke-San but would’ve preferred a powerful chorus since the whole song was so powerful and up beat. GJ guys and Ryo-san
Damn, so underrated band! Japan rocks!

The only reason the Japanese surrendered to the USA is because they didn’t want to surrender to Russia
