I really like Krav Maga. I started teaching it in 2008 when it was really popular. Since then my enrollment has gone down, but I think that a video like this really shows the true art of it.
Eyal Yanilov (head of KMG) was previously one of the top men at IKMF. He felt that there needed to be a more professional approach to Krav Maga in order to help it develop. Others didn't agree with him and he basically he began KMG. Most (but not all) IKMF instructors followed Eyal into KMG.I have worked under both organisations and both have some amazing instructors. One difference iv noticed, is international instructors visit more often.

How is the KM training outside of Israel, US and the UK? Like in Scandinavia.. can I expect to be taught the same skills, quality-wise? Or will I learn some sort of semi-KM where you ALMOST know everything you need, lol :p
People need to eat and people need to do what they love whilst being able to provide for there families ... The Money I have spent on Krav Maga has been my single best investment I have ever made ... for me along with the skills its a great release for a lot of aggression
I do like your pressurised training and mental rehersal but I did notice that a lot of the techniques e.g kicks and knees often leave you unbalanced. I also noticed that you are not focused on controlling limbs as in aikido but you would rather continually parry your opponent which I sense to be innefective. I am keen to hear from Krav Maga students on how effective this system is on boxers or those with basic mma/bjj training
@ouragan839 I'm glad it is. My instructor is in the video and I personally know the female instructor you see in the video too (Expert 3 and 1 respectively). If this wasn't a business I wouldn't have been able to be trained by my instructor who get's his knowledge directly from Eyal. If it wasn't a business, I wouldn't have been able to meet Eyal just this past Saturday either.
Great video by eyal. im gutted i cant afford to go to Israel in the summer...... please people stop wearing IKMF shirts if you`re a KMG student. Have some respect for both Federations.
Kmg is the new TKD in the us...Much of what is demonstrated here seems to lack non attribute based blocking ground work as well as realistic contact sparring & grappling?
Started a half year ago,i'm p1 level now.i never bin so fit before,It's the best thing i ever started with.👊👍
