- Demonstration ride and interview with Chris Hurst of Pangawarehouse. The PW25 performed great with a 115 Hp Suzuki. Fantastic fuel economy and a top speed of 40mph with a full 50 gallons of fuel. And best of all "Made in the USA"

Looks aren't deceiving, the Panga handled great and rode solid. Even though it was rated for higher HP the 115 was very impressive and more than adequate.
@@dondoesit My 25 Eduardono has a tiny 50 HP Evinrude Etec and top speed at slack tide is 24 knots. I'm sure a 90HP would push the Panga in the video easily 30 knots. I go 12-13 knots where I go on the South Shore Of Long Island and it's plenty fast for me.
I agree that it does not take much HP to make the Panga perform, That being said when I make a run out 50 miles offshore it's nice to get there and back on the same day.
small boats that go far offshore should always be able to go very fast to ride out approaching storms. Fortunatly off Long Island they saved the bunkers and now I only have to go a mile or two off the beach and big sharks, giant tuna , 40 pound cobia , Striped Bass, Bluefish are right there feeding on the bunker. Epic fishing a mile off the beach, years ago it was going 20 miles offshore for big game.Right outside NY harbor big giant tuna! @@dondoesit

A few other projects have recently consumed my time, that being said Panga time is my favorite time and will soon be back front and center.

I have a 1990 tm baja panga does anyone know anything about those?
I'd buy that 25 because I wish the Panga had side decks you could sit on or have rod holders , but I tow my 25 Eduardono with a front wheel drive minivan. The whole rig is about 2800 pounds total and the minivan pulls the boat out of the water with minimal effort. I'd be close to 3500 pounds with this new Panga. Chris, if you read this, you said I wouldn't have the towing power if I pulled a 25 Panga with a minivan. The minivan pulls the boat out of the water at dead low tide and up a huge incline no problem at all, one time I had the emergency brake on and it still nudged up the ramp.
I would think both hulls would be similar in weight, If it is working for you go with it. I don't know that would be my preferred tow vehicle if I had a choice, but if that is what you have and it works "Heck yeah"
Chris did a good job designing that boat. I emailed him a few times about buying one of his Eduardono Pangas.I hope they make those boats in different colors. You and Chris were great in that video. @@dondoesit
I read the specs for that boat, the hull weighs 1800 pounds and has a 7 foot beam. Beautiful boat with those nice wide decks. I went with the 25 Eduardono Corvina because the bare hull was only 915 pounds and I wasn't sure I could tow that with a mini van so I went light as I could. My boat has removable wood floors that add 300 pounds, so figure 1215 pounds total . The 25 Eduardono is all I need . but I'd get this new boat instead if I had a better tow vehicle. $24,000 for that new boat, maybe $4000 for a new trailer and $10,000 for a 90 HP Suzuki , put a Bimini Top on it , what a wonderful deal for a nice boat like that. Anybody who buys a boat for $100,000 is out of their minds. @@dondoesit
