Hi there. Bought the MP2 off your website. great delivery time and price as expected. Having one major problem.. serato seems to be absolutely useless. I cannot scratch with it at all. When i press scratch it does not let me scratch, i have been here for 5 hours now and i'm getting stupidly frustrated. there's nothing on the internet. in your video you scratch instantly, mine just slows the tempo. can you check the video on my channel that shows the problem? am desperate for help. thanks
Where can I get a scratch sample like the one you used here? I am having trouble using just a regular song to get those sounds. Im using a Denon MC3000
hi jason can you tell me the midimappings how the scratching works ? i´ve only found seekposition in traktor, which it most probably isnt. Or does it send out a timecode audio signal to traktor ? i wanna program an app which interfaces into traktor , ive already finished the crossfader but i wanna simultate the vinyl too.
Hey guys, I've got a mixtrack pro 2 recently, and by the way that was BIG!!! But was curious been trying a bit of scratching and not going great, sounds poor. Is all the action in the cross fader? And also would it be better to get a song with the same waveform or similar to the bright green one your using??? Any help man wanna pull off some nice scrathes and tears. Any help is much appreciated your videos are sick man allotta help : ) !!!
Hi man, I got Mixtrack pro 3 and I cant get that sound from crossfader. Something is wrong cause I do exactly like you, setup too. And it still doesnt do that "scratch" sound by crossfader. Can you help me? Thank you.
Can you really do advanced techniques on this because it seems like you can't from my experience? You can do the basics and the transformer as seen by you, but doing the crab or those others doesn't seem to do much.
How can you do this with VDJ? I have mappings for VDJ7 but havent fully utilised the scratching yet. I used to scratch well on Vestax PDX's back in the day, I'd love go get back into it but only kit I have is this at the moment. Hope you can help.
do you just have any song you want to scatch or does it have to be a sound? im a beginner(started about 5 months ago) and want to know how to scartch since many people asked me to do it. i would appreciate if you told me Jason. Thanks :)
If you want good scratching sounds just search in the internat for "download scratch breaks", "download scratch samples" or "download battle breaks". You'll find greqt sounds.
unfortunately the scratch sound in this video is from a scratch demo from a vinyl scratch pattern I've played with almost every single dj interface and the only one that semi makes a good scratch cut is Serato Pro or Virtual dj Pro which VDJ Pro is about $100 bucks the intro software is mainly for blending tracks and pinning que points
Hi there , Maybe you can help me with my problem , I can hear the sound loud on my headphone. Do you have any suggestion for me. I already set the gain to high volume but it didn't help.
Cross fader is switching between the right and the left track, shown on your software on your computer. If the cross fader is in the middle, both tracks will play with eachother. By adjusting the setting which is shown in this video, it changes how much the cross fader mixes from left to right. For example, if you were playing the track on the left deck and moved the cross fader very slightly to the right, it will play the right also, but it will be quiet. The setting on this video determines how sensitive the cross fader is when moving it slightly. The reason why the setting in this video is up very high, is because when using the cross fader for scratching, you the audio on the opposing deck to instantly play on the slight movement of the cross fader. Hope this can help you understand more:)
I never knew the Reloop RP 8000 could double as a table to put your controller on top of ! Just another one of the many offerings from Reloop
you dope mann!

Hiya Stewart, the crossfader curve can be set to whatever amount you like but unfortunately there is no way of setting to hamster I am afraid
