'Do a Wheelie' - amazing vibes, great tune, different generations and Hans Rey. The joy of mountain bikes condensed into 3 minutes! For me, 2nd best edit ever behind Semenuk's UnReal section.
If there's anything more impressive about Danny than his trials skills it's how down to earth he is and hasn't let fame go to his head. If it's possible I have even more respect for him after listening to this interview. Absolute legend.
Legend. In 2009 september i googled "bike tricks", saw his "April 2009" video and it kicked me off to my street/trials journey. Been riding ever since. Thanks Danny for your videos and creativity. Hoping to meet you someday.
This is the first Danny Mac podcast I've come across and he's a huge inspiration to so many riders amongst all disciplines of biking. Also to both old and new riders of bikes.👏🏻
I met him when he was doing demos at one of the 10under events at the time the video came out. He was the most unassuming, humble and down to earth person you could imagine.......despite his very obvious prodigious talent. All these years later his attitude doesn't seem to have changed despite all he has achieved.
Mind working at the outdoor at the NEC for the shop I worked at the time. We were next to the clan demo jumps.. seeing Danny smash this awful Blackburn modern penny farthing around in a seriously intense leopard leotard... clearing tabletops.. continuing past fork folds...😂 what a legend. Bikes are the best
Shout out to the raleigh burner posse... Probably the most customised bike in Ireland and Britian during the 90s.. I knew a farmer who used to sell shitty bikes as a side buisness from one of his sheds.. I was always going down to him striking up deals for mag wheels/frames and other wierd bikes he might have gotten in.. I once left his yard after spending 20 pounds with a Burner with yellow mag wheels, chrome frame and pipe insulation on the top tube as the originals were always either missing or the buttons were ripped half off and it was flapping in the wind.. Another time I got a wierd scooter with an offcentre rear hub where you had to bounce up and down to move it.. Going down a hill was a nightmare... Good times..
What's your favourite Danny MacAskill video?
Gotta be either Imaginate or Inspired Bicycles. But let’s face it, they’re all incredible!
@@archiebromfield can't argue with that... Imaginate is a favourite with my daughter.

I totally agree, it was a real pleasure to spend the day in his company.
I'm so thankful you published the eneitre interview and not just some highlights from it (or cutting out the silence). Amazing!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Props to the interviewer! That’s how you do it 👍🏻
Thanks so much!

I got the exact same impression, I’ve never felt a more warm welcome to someone’s home for a podcast and we went for a mint ride afterwards.
Great interview - such a humble guy and amazing career
Glad you enjoyed it Will, he's a humble guy for sure.
Excellent guest. Particularly enjoy his attitude to jumps! ;-)
Haha, glad you enjoyed it
