ive wired up my 6 wire iacv on link thunder as per your drawings and settings, it works perfectly. But it does get warm (not hot) when its just sitting there doing nothing (key on engine off) is that normal?
Hey Guys, I have 2 diesel engines on a yacht with very simple old tech that simply start/run and monitor using the old style gauges. I was just wondering after watching a few of your videos, is it worth the effort to make new looms and add an OBD system (which it currently does not have) so I can plug and play new instrument clusters? One diesel is a (perkins 4.236) generator and the other is the main engine (detroit 8.2l V8) for propulsion. Im thinking it will also help with engine diaognostics in the future...any comments?
If you wanted to set it up it would allow logging and with a cangauge it would allow simple display and warnings. Not sure the expense would make it worthwhile but they would be your choice. Cheers Kelvin
Hello, can you help me, I have an ecu block 89661-50310 that stood before that 3a080 swapped the ignitors igt1, igt2 in places it starts up but then stalls. Maybe you know for sure if 50310 has an immo? Maybe you know some kind of solution to this problem? block on stamps in '95. gray connectors.
Wassup man , I have a 96 ls400 and I’ve been having an issue wit it ,it has a misfire and gives me code p0300 p0302 and p0306 the car give out white smoke from the exhaust and continues . People told me it might be the power steering idle valve but I capped off the ports but it still gives out smoke. Dealer told me it was a bad fuel injector and that causes the ecu to go bad. What do u think could cause this , I replaced the fuel injector that was failing which was for cylinder 6 what do u think this could be ? I could record a video and upload it to UA-cam
From the land of the eagle, thank you for being invaluable to the UZ community making swaps great again 👍
Thanks for the compliment.
Kelvin, "Men at Work" comes to mind watching you and Jase! Good on you.
Well we do work when the camera is on. Men at work (the band) were ozzies blokes so you are close to the line there. Haha.
1uzfe vvti which link ECU is best.

I've never really checked sorry so not really wanting to comment further. Cheers Kelvin

Kelvin, I just heard that Haltech is releasing NSP software for their Elite generation of ECU's...
Yes, my email has info so I'll sit down and have a read once I get time. I have this same style loom to haltech 550 ready to test too.

Have you wired the diagnostic port and checked for the immo fault code? This is the easiest way to confirm if an ecu has immo or not. Cheers Kelvin
@@CartuneNZ Hello, there are no errors. The car starts up for a few seconds, then stalls.

Like always test and diagnose rather then guess
I recommend testing the system carefully. The ecus do fail more than injectors. Testing is the best way forward. Cheers
Does this work with automatics? Thx
Link does not presently have native transmission control. Haltech does however which we have videos on
Thanks I'll check them out
Lol left hand drive is the right side of the road. 🤣. Bald eagle Land 🦅
There is a left and right video planned. It might help if I drunk alcohol to get the effect I would like.
