Markus missing half his shots at close range against a Dread Saurian basically sums up my Markus experience ever since his nerf back in 2.
This comment is at the top for a reason. Ranged lords are fucking garbage. They will almost always do more damage if they go into melee and slaughter infantry. They suck. The twin wood elves are maybe one exception, but they can shoot and melee at the same time so.....
Imagine how sick Markus would be if they updated him and his heroes to be similar to how Tamurkhan and his chieftains work.

Alternate way to play Markus: Start as Karl, send a hero to Lustria, confederate him, profit.

Edit: That and the European empire traveling to "the new world" and start slaughtering the natives is pretty on the nose of what it is trying to reference.

Very outdated WH2 mechanics, plus he himself is weak in range combat, slow reload, damage. Only good thing is his army buffs.
@@CapybaraConnoisseur89 It's slightly better than WH2. Once you complete your acclaim the game will stop spawning in an enemy lizard man army when you get max hostility. While in WH2 the game would never stop spawning in the lizard man armies which was annoying as you could be invading say bretonnia super late game and a lizard man army spawns.
A machanic update would be nice though like the ability to receive new empire units with your imperial supply's like landships.
Played him once, pushed a bit, got betrayed by the french dudes, lost all but one settlement to the french invasion, felt personaly attacked (im german) and quit the campaign
You can stack hunter archer ranged damage to 150-200. Which is pretty wild.

Cheap armies, get two full army stacks, get to waaaah, never stop sacking, out level everyone in the first 30 turns, then start taking settlements and shit.
