I grew up with a Cannondale f300. All the guys at the shop had scalpels. Fast forward 20 years and my ‘24 scalpel 3 is on the way. Great review!
Nice reveiw! I have a scalpel team 2022 with the lefty, its 100m back and front with lockout, xtr rides like a trail bike so plush don't feel tired on long rides.. kinda happy they didnt change too much with it, I think the next iteration they'll change the shock position like you said and go all electronic with no cables. would like to see an XC bike test, you have a nice selection there,
Im waiting for my new Scalpel 4 to arrive. I have all the fancy fixin's on my current Canyon Lux that ill be swapping once it arrives. She's gonna look sexy beside my Scalpel HT. Christmas in April, can't wait!!!
nicely packaged. Ziptying the chain to the chainring is clever, no more chipped bb shell paint work during shipping. Pity lefty is only available on the Lab71 in north america
I know, there’s a lot of Lefy fans out there that don’t want to spend that Lab money to get it

Hellabike! I have a few thoughts. I would love to see how 120/120 feels. Currently I ride a 130/130 and have it dialed in to use fully 130/130 when I’m riding hard. Curious if I would be disappointed with 120/120. Beautiful bike…maybe I’ll switch back to riding a Scalpel again. ;-) hopefully it not as twitchy. ;-)❤❤❤❤
Select + tune for Cannondale has a higher tuned threshold in the pedal position. For the life of me I don't understand why they didn't fit manual lock out
Beside my yeti sb115 i love that pivot 429 looks nice
The 429 was my favorite bike for a really long time

доброго времяни суток ! у меня был такой скальпель 2020-21 модельного года что мне понравилось это его навесное оборудование и вес ! из минусов крепление задний подвески а иминно крепление верхнего уха аморта ! так как если болт закиснет то его оттуда не достать !

Change the maxxis tyres to schwalbe Racing Ralph/Ron, that makes a big difference. I have the 2024 Scalpel 1.
I’ve got to try the Schwalbe tires I know a lot of fast people that like them.
24#? I weighed my Large with tubeless, pedals and spare tube - 27.1# ready to ride. I was hoping for lower.

They are both really good looking bikes. I think manufacturers now realize that they have to make a bike look right as well as Good
