- That's the first Mephisto Waltz by Liszt, and this part is known for being super epic and challenging hard. So, I decided to clip this especific part.
P.f. André Laplante
I love this section, is so badass!
1:37-1:57 best 20 seconds of the whole piece, I just love the sequences.
Especially because of 1:53 (it reminds me of a cadenza in the 2nd Prokofiev).
I would recommend the Neil Eisenstein version wholeheartedly
piano music in the future:
I don’t understand, I wish music like this was still made though
@@alexandercarroll9707 I don’t wish, personally I think that these classical pieces are better as old as they are because it made them unique.

@@jukeban646 salut !
Has to have been edited.
I think this is Liszts hardest piece
If you consider the Symphony Transcriptions, i think it's the Beethoven's 9th Piano Transcript
@@xbadover2993 I have not listened to those. I’ll have to find them now!
While this piece definitely requires lots and lots of practice and experience, this is not liszts hardest piece, that would be liszt beethoven symphony 9
Some of his opera transcriptions are definitely harder (Reminiscences de Lucrezia Borgia, Norma, Don Juan, etc.)
Inspiring interpretation
