Funny you should say that. Roundhouse do a tender for the Billy which is on my possible shopping list. Generally speaking the FeckHallBahn's curves are too tight for a tender loco but when I rebuild the railway I plan to address that.
Nicely done. I thought Gaspode was male? :) Is the rigid coupling just a rod with eyes at each end? Could maybe do with something that grasps the hook rather than sliding over it. Thinking cap on!
V1 was some 1/4" x 1.5mm copper bar with a hole at each end. V2 is some 2mm ss rod with an eye twisted at each end. That's worked better so far (only tried it with diesel traction as yet) V3 - in development - will be the same as V2 but sort of U shaped with the eyes above the main bar. Sort of like one of these ] rotated 90° I might change the F end coupling for an industrial multi height centre buffer but loath to undo your fantastic work.
Good old Gaspode. Im really liking this momentum wagon.👍
Gaspode is a good name for a loco..
Are you a Terry Pratchett reader as well?
Gaspode is certainly useful. If you had the right tools and materials, would you try building a tender engine to run on your railway?

As male as Flying Scotsman or Sir Haydn - but says 'chuff'...
