When they were in Cajun Dance Party Daniel was a normal front man. I think he didn't really want to be making this type of music by the time Yuck blew up. He wanted to make slowcore, experimental stuff. This band absolutely couldn't have existed without Max though. A lot of the guitar work on their debut was him, the instrumental sound that blew them up right when this 90s MSP/Guided By Voices type shit was resurging was all him. I remember being in college when their S/T dropped in the thick of the hipster thing and yea they were meteoric in popularity.
one of those bands with a legendary debut and nothing else
Not true
Daniel is in my opinion the better singer of the two. So much more emotion and not always perfect but always in tune
That outro still absolutely kicks ass 4 years later!
This outro will kick ass even 2000 years later
Their first album is just golden to me. I just wish they'd put some energy into their live performances - yeesh.
THIS IS LEGENDARY. TRUE INSPIRATION
🙌🏾
Lol Daniel is already over it
He was probably uncomfortable with Max singing because it was subpar

Pensé que habían regresado a la formación original y luego vi que era del 2014 T.T
