I thought that the Wancher logo was a stylized chrysanthemum, but when I contacted them they informed me that it is a stylized sun. My Sailor-Wancher collaboration is a beautiful Pro-Gear model. It has a white cap with a green finial bearing the Sailor logo, a white section, with a 21k nib, a green barrel with metallic speckles, and a white end-cap. The nib is a 21k Sailor nib. It is a splendid pen that writes as well as it looks.
Interesting collaboration. Love the look and, vicarious, feel of the Matt wancher. Pen squeaks are easily silenced with a smidge of beeswax. Twenty one carat is nearly all gold ! One wonders what the other alloys are? Excellent review, thanks. 🙏
Interesting companies to come together like this. Each very different, so the results of the collaboration should be interesting, though this just seems like a slightly enhanced Sailor 🤔
I like the matte finish but sorry the pro gear size & shape are done. I don’t mind either shape but love bigger nibs and more variety in shapes … so many cigar shapes out there they gotta be exceptional in some way but not break the bank! Thanks for sharing comparison!

I decided that I was getting one about 75% of the way through your video, where I normally spend days if not weeks watching and reading reviews before making a purchase...

I'm with you. I much prefer the flat finials of the Pro Gear. But nice pen otherwise. Cool looking texture.
Man, what a pen! I think my Sailor is my favourite pen. Unfortunately they’re so expensive.
