- Hello everyone, in this video, we will be revisiting the Or Tor Kor marketplace to meet with one of our friends Lilja to eat some durian. We will both be attending the Durian tour hosted by Lindsay Gasik in Thailand. We wanted to meet up to taste some durians before the official tour started.
This is my last day before I taste actual tree-dropped durians from farms. I was glad to be able to taste durians sold in Bangkok. These durians are typically sold as the 'Golden Fluffly Pillows of Bangkok'. The majority of durians sold in Bangkok are not 100% soft (How I like them) and instead are more crunchy than soft.
We meet with an awesome durian vendor who gave us free durians! You can find her at the Or Kor Tor Market in Bangkok, Thailand.

you should try the durians in singapore/malaysia ...makes thai durians look bad. if you ever come to singapore i will hook you up with the best in SEA. btw kudos to you and Lijia for trying out durians!

Montong is worth for money because more meat and smaller seed.
I agree, Monthong is good flavor too. Yeah I remember it does have a small seed thanks for letting me know that.

Very pricey I agree! I went to some local markets in the farm areas of Thailand like Chanta buri and Prachin buri and I found mangosteen so cheap and much more fresh, I think is expensive because it’s Bangkok and also really clean market attracts lot of tourist so prices are higher, that’s why I think why. But I agree with you very pricey!
