All credit to the people who worked on this; it is an incredible piece of animation and voice acting (to the limited quantity it was used). However, I think a more accurate title would have been "What if SCP-049 was driven by a love of bloodshed?". Sure he can defeat SCP-106 if he went super saiyan, but it was never an even match up. SCP-106 seemed to hold his own even against a juiced up SCP-049 so it is more of a triumph for The Old Man at this point. The whole point of "DeathBattle" like animations is to watch someones interpretation of a fight between two similarly powerful and clever characters. No one would watch "DeathBattle: Superman vs. Happy (DC vs Marvel)" because they would already know Jon Favreau would get his s*** ran. So if you want to make a video about how much you love the SCP universe and SCP-049 in particular then great, but don't lie to the audience about the outcome being rigged in favor of your Italian-goth-emo-tsundere.

Hes still plague doctor but becuase he has new powers he dont often care about curing people anymore now that he can legit kick ass in a second he even killed scp 173 which is the strongest and fastest scp in the foundation but scp 049 surpass it now its hopeless

In theory there's nothing saying he couldn't possess the levels of reflex speed displayed in his initial breakout. It would explain how he stayed alive for over 400 years and in secret before getting caught. Plus he doesn't need to eat, drink, or sleep. If he got a spc-049-02 to distract the guard he could do this. And his skin already can kill anyone who isn't an SCP with a touch essentially sucking out their life force from their body. So why not an upgraded version able to kill other SCP's too and steal their powers? It's a good thing 049 is essentially a naive semi pacifist. As in he kills when necessary or when trying to cure someone for what he believes to be their own good. All of this is assuming 049 would upgrade like this and be willing to kill a lot of people on his way out after being given a -02 experiment.

He's well set on demolishing the rest of the keter class humanoid and person sized SCPs, probably can't fuck with location instakill keter SCPs like 2935 but probably is unstoppable already.

SCP-049 was always one of my favourite SCPs, also by his apearance, but I never knew he could be this powerful.

In theory there's nothing saying he couldn't possess the levels of reflex speed displayed in his initial breakout. It would explain how he stayed alive for over 400 years and in secret before getting caught. Plus he doesn't need to eat, drink, or sleep. If he got a spc-049-02 to distract the guard he could do this. And his skin already can kill anyone who isn't an SCP with a touch essentially sucking out their life force from their body. So why not an upgraded version able to kill other SCP's too and steal their powers?
It's a good thing 049 is essentially a naive semi pacifist. As in he kills when necessary or when trying to cure someone for what he believes to be their own good. All of this is assuming 049 would upgrade like this and be willing to kill a lot of people on his way out after being given a -02 experiment.
